New school. Year 4.
We recently moved to Chester Hills. Dad said it was too hard back at the countryside. It was hard getting around there. Everything was hills and grass. The community was nice though, everyone got along and we had little farm parties sometimes. The kids used to go on farm adventures at night, pretending that we were going to find a mysterious tree or something. I guess you could say it was rather all in our heads. Life at the farm made me sleepy, like there was always nothing to worry about in life.
I sort of liked that feeling I guess. The feeling of serenity.
I pulled the yellow school shirt over my head and i tightened the brown shorts over my waist.
We use to have to wear hats in the countryside. The sun was more severe there.
I'm excited. Quite excited actually. i just have to tell myself that there'll be nice people who'll be my friends.
"sigh"
Am I excited?
I'll certainly miss my friends.
