Chapter 6: Training Buddies

(A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I've been busy with homework and play rehearsal. But now I'm back!! Anywho, enjoy!)

Yang's POV

I was sitting in my room with my team, and on the bed across from the one I was sitting on sat (Y/N) with a bloody nose and a bruise on his forehead.

(A/N: As you can see, it didn't go too well, but thanks to Saiyan cells, the wounds healed quickly. Plus you got a Zenkai Boost as an added bonus!)

We waited a moment to process what had just happened while Weiss called the dorm staff for a work order to fix the door we broke. When she finished, I finally spoke up.

Me: Ok. I'm not gonna call you a pervert or anything, only because it was an accident.

He looked up and smiled a bit when I said that.

Me: However, I would like to know what brought you to our dorm in the first place.

(Y/N): Well, you see, *He rubbed the back of his head* Ozpin sent me here because he's recruited me onto your team.

When he said that, we all seemed to have mixed reactions. Ruby started cheering and welcoming him like 10 different ways, Weiss was petrified and started mumbling angrily to herself, Blake was stuck in a book and just said;

Blake: Welcome. Don't steal any of my novels.

As for me, I was genuinely surprised. And yet, I was still happy. I mean, I did have a crush on the guy, and besides, with him on the team, it'll make training sessions that much better. I stood up and walked over to him, reaching my hand out.

Me: Well I guess if Ozpin said it, it must be true. Welcome to team RWBY. And sorry for breaking your nose.

(Y/N): *He takes my hand and stands up* It's alright. And it's good to be on the team.

(Y/N)'s POV

After the whole debacle that took place back at Team RWBY's dorm, they got the door fixed and got me settled. We then talked for a while and I got to know the team more personally. Then the team decided to go to their training grounds. Now we're talking. We made our way to the grounds and was amazed at how big they were. I could train for days there. But it felt like something was missing.

Me: Hey Ruby. *She looks over to me* So, these training grounds. They wouldn't happen to have any gravity altering capabilities, would it?

Ruby: Gravity what now?

Blake: Yeah, what are you talking about (Y/N)?

I mentally face palmed. I probably should have figured that they wouldn't have any kind of gravity chamber. They probably couldn't survive the increased gravity.

Me: I thought you'd say that. See, as a Saiyan, I get my training done in a chamber, in which I can increase and decrease the gravity of the room. But, since humans probably couldn't survive the gravity increase, I probably should have figured that you guys wouldn't have anything like that.

They all gave me blank stares as I put my head down a bit. But then I remembered a solution to my problem.

Me: I got it!

I used instant transmission to get to the dorm and back to grab a capsule I had brought from home. When I returned, the blank stares from my team turned into wide-eyed stares with dropped jaws.

Weiss: What was that?

Ruby: Yeah! How did you do that (Y/N)? And what are you holding?

Me: Well, it's a technique that I learned from one of my ancestors. It's called instant transmission. It lets me travel to something or someone instantly. As for what I'm holding.

I turned away from them, clicked the capsule, and threw it across the room. When it exploded, it spawned a giant orb looking structure. I turned back to them and all of their jaws dropped further down.

Me: This is my portable gravity chamber.

Blake: How is it portable?

Me: Because if I press this button *I ran up to it and gestured to a small button next to the door.* I can return this to its capsule form. It also has a special function that, in essence, slows down time in the outside world, and turns a day into a year in the chamber!

(A/N: So this is pretty much a Hyperbolic Time Chamber in a capsule)

Weiss: How does that work? That's impossible!

Me: Lots of science that I can't explain to you whatsoever.

I pressed the button and the pod puffed and returned to a capsule, which I promptly grabbed and put in my pocket.

Me: But, since none of you are up for it, I guess I can settle for regular training

Ruby: Yeah that's probably for the best

Weiss and Blake: Probably.

Yang: Uhh

Yang looked like she wanted to say something.

Me: What is it Yang?

Yang: I've...uhh...actually been lacking in the strength department. I really want to get stronger, and uhh...I was hoping if I could maybe use it with you.

I was surprised with her response. She must be pretty desperate if she wants to resort to gravity training.

Me: Are you sure? I mean, it pretty intense stuff.

Yang: Don't worry. *She gave me a smirk* I don't break easy.

I blushed when I heard her say that. I love a fighting attitude in a woman. I promptly returned the smirk.

Me: Alrighty then. From this day on, We'll be training partners.

I put my hand out for a fist bump and she returned it with confidence.

Yang's POV

I was totally euphoric! With (Y/N)'s Help, I could become the strongest huntress in beacon! Plus, as an added bonus, I practically get to spend a year with him! I mean come on, he may have touched my breast. But who's to say I didn't like it?
