All color drained from my face, to say that I was disgusted was an understatement. The sight of seeing Jocelyn scramble off the bed in nothing but Shawn's sheets brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't speak, the only thing I could do was choke on my tears while trying to hold them back. Coming back early to surprise him was one of the worst decisions I could have made.
"Why?"
That was the only thing I managed to get out before I broke down into tears. I fell onto my knees, I should have seen this coming.I couldn't take it, I felt like I had just been punched in the gut. I was sickened by the sight of him, just staring at me. His mouth hung open in shock, his eyes held the emotion of guilt.
"I am so sorry Le-"
" Don't, just don't"
I picked myself up and cleared my throat, taking a few steps towards him.
" Well, got anything to say?"
He said nothing, his mouth opened and closed as if he were trying to find the right thing to say.
" Thank you both for the best four years of my life. Goodbye"
