Dante POV
I woke in bed and everything that happen came back to me, I ran out of the room angrily.
"GENE, YOUR DEAD" I shouted as look for him in the hotel room
"Hey, good morning to you too, sleepy head" Gene yawn as he drank his coffee in the kitchen
"Why hell did you put me to sleep" I shouted at him
"You need some sleep, I could tell you haven't gotten enough sleep for since Vylad died" Gene said
"I'm not a kid anymore and I can take of myself the way I want to" I said, flustered
"What ever, here I made you some coffee" Gene said holding up a cup of coffee
I just walk backed to my room and slammed the door closed
I don't need anyone's help and why am I here, I need to get out here. I open the door a little bit and saw Gene sitting on the couch watching tv. I quietly sneeked out of my room without him noticing and walk to the door and slowly opened it and ran out to the elevator and pushed the clicked on the lobby button.
When the elevator's door open I made a quick dash to the exit. I looked around and I know I was in Scaleswind, I decided to go to this near by bar I know. When I got to the bar I asked for three beers and the bartender gave them to me and I pay him and left to the park near by. I sat under a tree in the forest where no one can find me
"I hate this" I mumbled as I opened the first beer and drank it
"You really shouldn't be doing that here, ya know" someone said me behind me
I turned around to yell at the guy, but I stop when I saw him. He looks like Vylad, but he didn't sound like Vylad this guy had red eyes and with a darker drown hair, had a sliver earring,, and wore a red and black hoodie, black ripped jeans, and black, red, and white vans.
I just stared at him
"Um..hello" he said waving his hand in front of my face
"O...um I'm sorry you just look like a guy I once know" I stuttered , blushing a silently pink
"Really, what was his name" he asked
"Vylad" I said opening another beer
"Let me guess he was your boyfriend" he said
"Yeah...but he died three mouths ago" I said sadly drink the whole bottle of beer
"I'm so sorry, but how did he died...I know it none of my business" he said nervously, hoping I wouldn't get mad
"I he was murdered and I saw it happen and I couldn't to anything but watch, it was all my fault to begin with" I said as I started to cry remember what happen.
"Your the one who killed me" the guy said in Vylad's voice
I looked at the up at the guy and saw Vylad and he was wearingthe same cloth as that guy I was talking to but had had red eyes
"Is that really you Vylad" I said as I stood up and tears were running down my face
"Yeah, but I'm a shadow knight now, but enough talk time to die" Vylad said coldly as red sword appeared in his hand
"Wait!!" I said as I backed away from him
"It's only fair I get to kill you since got to kill me" he said walking towards me an pointing the sword at me
"Let me explain, the one who killed you wasn't me it was Ivan, he use some potion to look lik-" I said but Vylad cut me off
"I don't care, l loved you, I trusted you, but I was really not thing to from the start wasn't I, you were dating Nicole the whole time and I though I found someone that really cared about me, but right now the only thing I want to do is to see you dead and nothing more" Vylad said angrily as swang the sword at me
I luckily doge it and started running away from him
"COME BACK HERE" Vylad yelled out
I ran even faster, I made my way out of the park and ran all the way back to the hotel room. When I got the room, I knocked on the door for Gene or Jason to answer. When the door open Gene punched me right on the cheek.
"Ow...what was that for" I shouted at him
"For sneaky out you idiot, you could have gotten hurt" Gene yelled at me
"Yeah about that, I need to tell you something but you have to believe me when I say this...is that Vylad is alive, but he is a shadow knight" I said
Gene's eyes widen
"So you saw him and let guess he tried to kill you" Gene sighed as he took a seat on the couch
"Wait..YOU know" I said
"Yeah, me and Jason know okay we only wanted to keep you safe until Vylad claims down" Gene said
"That's why you guys took me here" I said, he nodded
"Yes, but there's no need to worry about Vylad anymore" Jason said
Me and Gene turned around behind us at the door and saw Jason with Vylad who was knocked outs and beat up.
"Where the hell did you find him" Gene and I said in unison
"I was look for some food and he came out of nowhere and tried to attack me and he made me drop my food and I got mad and I knocked him out and before get near me and I over did it and started beating him up" Jason said as he dragged Vylad to me
"You can clean him up and he can sleep in your room" Jason added
"Okay, but wouldn't he try to attack me when he wakes up" I said
"Nope, I enchanted theses metal cuffs to block him from using any of shadow knight power and in other words he just a normal human" Jason said as he took Vylad to my room
"But Vylad could still hurt or kill me still" I said
Jason lifted his hands and pointed them at me and he started casting a spell, but noting happen
"Um..what did you do?" I asked
"I just cast a spell on you that will make you immune to physical Injuries and now I'm heading out to order my lunch again, bye" Jason said as he walked out
I waited by the bedside for Vylad to wake up, but notting happen and I ended up felling asleep
