" what do you mean, how can we the flight isn't due till Thursday" I say double checking the tickets. " we have to Kylie, we can't look after ourselves in France without mum so we are going to go to the airport today " said Max. MAX went into his room and got two suitcases and handed one to me. "What about paying for the hotel " I say. " mum did that when we got here, but we will get some money back because we are leaving early.
I go into my room and start to pack my stuff. After I pack all of my stuff I carry the suitcase back to Max and get my shoes on.
when we go down to reception Max goes to get some money back then he phones a taxi to take us to the airport.
when we got to the airport Max managed to get us tickets but they weren't beside each other so we had to sit at the opposite side of the plane from each other. I had to sit beside a mum and her child , and Max had to sit next to this old couple.
I was sitting at the window side so I was only sitting next to the mum and her child was sitting on her other side of her. the flight was going to take 4 hours, so I got my phone out of my pocket, I had about 30 texts but I couldn't be bothered to read them all so I just started to flick through the photo's.
some of the family photo's brought a tear to my eye, but I held the tears in, I didn't want to make a scene or anything. The last photo of mum on my phone was her on her birthday, so looked so pretty with her blonde hair tied up. I don't know where me and Max get our brown hair from because our dad had blonde hair too. in the photo mums hand was on her face and she was wearing eye make up. it was her 26 th birthday , the photo was taking just last year, when she was alive , mum was 27 when she died, but it's not fair , she was too young to die.
