This feeling that I have,
Consumes my very soul.
I become overwhelmed with joy,
And could it be love?
Nothing matters to me,
As long as I get to see you smile.
You brighten my day,
You put a smile on my face.
If I'm ever angry or sad,
You make it drain away.
If the loneliness comes back,
Your touch brings me comfort.
Whenever we touch,
I get tingles on my skin.
The flutters in my heart,
Never seem to end.
I feel safer with you,
Than all of the rest.
I go to you first,
If I ever need protection.
Despite your flaws,
I care for you so.
They don't matter to me,
For they make you, you.
