The closer we got to her home, the more nervous I got. Didn't mystery-thief-man say that not everything is what it seems? Or was that Jade? I can't remember. We walked for a few more minutes and came across a beautiful building.

"This is my home", Kiu said. We continued our little walk in a big circle, following the graveled road up to the steps of the house. As we went up the steps, that unsettling feeling in my stomach had grown worse though I keep silent. We made our way to the door and little Kiu knocked on the door. The door was opened by an older looking man and judging by how he was dress, he must have been the butler.
"Good evening, Miss Kiu. Did you enjoy your walk", he said in a monotone voice.
"I did and I have brought a guest with me who will be staying with us this evening so prepare a room please", Kiu told the butler as she walked through the door with me following her. Guess I really am staying the night.....
"As you wish, ma' lady", the butler said. He walked off to who knows where. It was very spacious inside the house, then again any humongous house would more than likely be spacious inside. There was tile flooring and a grand staircase that had stairs going up and then turning in different directions, one going left and the other right. The carpeting on the stairs was a deep red color. Burgundy? Maybe. Kiu started heading towards the stairs, so I followed since I have idea what's going on.
"For the time being, you can stay with me in my room", she told me. I turned around to see that Sai was still following us. We made it up the stairs and made a right. I try to memorize the direction we are going so in case of emergency, I can backtrack and get out of here. We continued down the hallway and stood in front of a green and purple door. It was green at the top left of the door and has it made it's way towards the center, it started to change to purple and purple colored the rest of the door (make sense?). She opened the door and walked through. I hesitated but followed her through. Before I had a chance to close the door, a boy appeared in the doorway.
"Kiu! Where have you been?! Mother has been worried. If you're gonna go on your stupid little walks, at least tell her when you leaving", the boy shouted not taking notice of my presence.
"Could you refrain from shouting in front of my guest", Kiu said with a bit of annoyance in her voice. I pressed my lips together tightly to stop myself from chuckling.
"What gue---" he turned and looked at me. He was just a bit shorter than me. Awesome though he seemed to be frozen one the spot when he looked over at me.
"What's the matter kid? Never seen a girl this close before", I said with sarcasm. He doesn't need to continue staring at me. He was wearing a black hoodie, jeans, and black vans. There was some red streaks in his hair as well.
