The bus stopped. Buffy stood, and stretched. She had dozed off again, while leaning into Spike's chest. "Pfft." She thought to herself, and looked back at him. He was asleep. She went back into the seat, and poked him on the nose. Spike sneezed. "Wha- whERE?!" Spike jumped up, hitting the ceiling of the bus. "Oww." He whimpered, but stood and turned to go out of the seat anyway. "Why'd you poke me?" He asked Buffy, trying to sound annoyed. "Because, it's time to get off." Buffy nodded at him, and he shook his head. Pointing at the window, he groaned. "Sunlight, luv. Sunlight. I mean, unless you want me to be a nice pile of dust." He sat back down, laying in the seat. "Have fun, luv. I'll see you later." Everyone else had gotten off the bus. Buffy sighed. "The sun goes down in an hour or so, I'll stay with you so you aren't bored.." Buffy sat down on the edge of the seat. Spike immediately got up, and scooted further into the seat, giving her room. "Thanks, Spike." Buffy scooted in, no longer on the edge of the seat. "Slayer, can we talk?" Spike turned to her. "Bad idea William. You're going to make her sick." His mind yelled at him. "About what you said earlier luv." Spike replied, ignoring his thoughts. Buffy turned to him "Wh-what's there to talk about?"  Buffy said shakily, staring into his eyes, but somehow still zoned out. Spike sighed, but continued. "What am I really to you? You don't love me; just because you say it, doesn't mean you mean it, luv." Buffy was in her own head, barely noticing Spike's words. "It's disgusting. It's all disgusting. You can't love him, it's wrong. All wrong." All of her head repeated this to her. "I don't care if it's wrong! He's better now, right? It's not wrong anymore. Plus.. I can't choose who I love, and I can't do anything about being in love with Spike." She whispered loudly, still in her own head. Spike had been listening, having wanted a response, but not expecting this. Buffy slammed her head into the seat, still in her own head. "Shut. Up!" Buffy's shout was muffled in the seat. Spike grabbed her arm, and murmured "I love you, Buffy." Buffy took her head out of the seat. She rubbed her forehead with her hand, then looked at Spike.  "Spike..." Buffy sighed, and Spike nodded. "It's night, we can get off the bus." She stood up, and started walking through the bus aisle. Spike groaned. "Thanks for telling me, luv." He followed her, thinking to himself, "I guess that answers my question.." Rolling his eyes, he stepped off the bus, still following Buffy. "Where are we going?" Spike rose his eyebrows at the apartment building in front of him. "Bloody hell. Do I have to live with Xander again?" Buffy continued walking, ignoring his question. She went to a large pair of stairs, and walked up, to the first level. She knocked on a door, on the left side. "Dawn?" She spoke into the door, acting as if Spike wasn't there. "It's unlocked, Buffy. Where have you been?" Dawn replied. Buffy opened the door, then turned to Spike, who nodded at the door. "Invite me in, or.." Buffy looked through him. "Come in, Spike." Dawn stood up. "Hey, you weren't dusted. I figured I was imagining you on the bus." Spike rolled his eyes. "Nice to know you care, bit." He walked into the room, and immediately turned to TV, but felt Buffy's hand on his shoulder. "You wanted to talk, right?" Buffy looked and Dawn. "Which room?" Dawn snorted. "The second one. Try to go at it quietly, would ya?" Spike covered his mouth, trying not to laugh. "Lil bit!" He gasped, acting surprised. Buffy rolled her eyes, and walked down the hallway. Spike waved at Dawn, then followed Buffy. She opened the door to the second room, and closed it behind Spike. "Sit." She nodded at the bed, but he sat cross-legged on the floor, where he had been standing. She facepalmed. Spike laughed, got up, and sat on the edge of the bed, putting on a serious face. "Ask anything." Buffy sat next to him. "Hmm, okay. Why'd you actually save me?" Spike grinned.
