The Competition
Chloe's POV:
We walked into our dressing room and luckily we had one of the more expensive ones that came with space for us to practice easily. We were at a gigantic stadium and more than five thousand people are going to be watching our performance. This is the perfect time to honour my mother.
"Alright, Maddie I'm going to work on your solo first. Maddie owned the dance floor. Her dance looked beautiful, once she was finished I congratulated her as did everyone else. Then it was my turn, I did my dance and Abby only said one thing, that my mother would be disappointed. Me and Maddie just left and went backstage waiting for our numbers to be called. She tried to calm me down, but it was no use I would have to go on stage covered in tears. Maddie was called up and she performed her dance very well. I was next. I was called to the stage, but the announcer was there too. "This solo is dedicated to Chloe's mom, who died in a car crash not long ago. Good luck Chloe." People were crying in the audience and going aww. Suddenly I realized the pressure on my shoulders, if I mess this up. I got into my stating position and then the music started. Tears streamed down my face, I was doing well, but around half way through my dance I threw up on the stage. People's eyes widened and instead of running off the stage I decided to be an idiot and just stand there. I started crying and having a panic attack again. I had just messed up my only shot at giving my mom a gift back. People must have realized that I was having trouble breathing, because they started pointing and shouting, "Someone help her!" Soon after all of the girls: Maddie, McKenzie, Nia, Paige, Brooke and Kendall rushed onto the stage and tried to get me off. I couldn't let them take me off before I finished my song. They tried to grab me, but I screamed and shouted at them. I continued my dance, but before I could finish they managed to pull me off the stage. I didn't care that other people around me, I just fell to the floor and curled up into a ball. The girls tried to get me to open up, but someone pushed them away from me. The next thing I knew Abby was picking me up, I tried to squirm out of her grip, but she held me tight. We all went back to the dressing room. She the threw me out of her arms into the air and I hit the floor with a thud. "Abby what the hell!" Jill screamed. "This kid is a failure, who throws up on the stage and screams and claws at the stage to try and stay on. It's a disgrace to my name you brat. I didn't get out of a ball, I was too embarrassed to look at anyone.
A week later.
Paige's POV:
Ever since the dancing incident Chloe hasn't said a word to anyone. The first thing she did when she got home was go to the bathroom and then just slam the door to her bedroom and not come out. We slid food under her door, but we still haven't seen her. I decide that today is the day where I would go into her room. I didn't knock, because then she would know I was coming in. I opened the door and she was sat facing the other way on her bed. "Chloe hello?" I ask creeping over to her. She is only wearing her underwear for some reason. I come and sit beside her and then I see it. All over her body are cuts varying in sizes. She was bleeding, she had just made three new cuts on her arms and they looked to be worst. She was pale, and she looked at me before fainting in the ground.
*So that's what Chloe was doing in her room the whole time. Will Chloe live or die? Who knows. Well I know, but who knows... other than me. I know that this chapter looks short, but it's just the gigantic paragraph in the middle of the chapter. I couldn't just make a new one, because it all just flowed together. Also if you thought that Chloe throwing up wasn't very nice and a bit disgusting, tough luck :P*
