A Prussia x reader story

You wandered your cabin, you were a new recruit for the Prussian army, but it was early and you couldn't sleep. You heard voices, and decided to listen in, "Sir, the new recruits have arrived.", "huh? Awesome! Training starts tomorrow!", "but sir I don't think-", "a victory for me! The awesome Prussia!" Both voices had heavy German accents, feeling you heard too much, you turned to leave, but only became face to face with your bunk mate Carrie, "you couldn't sleep either?" You asked "yeah, and it's time to start training.", "what?! When was this?!", "a few minutes ago (y/n) honestly! And they say you pay attention!" You went silent, although Carrie could be rude, she was like a big sister to you, and you cared for her like family.

You and Carrie lined up to say the pledge of your nations flag. When finished you heard a loud clap causing you to flinch. "Oi, Peter. Are these the new recruits?", "yes, sir.", "I would have had better work done with maggots then with these children." Your self esteem went down a bit but you kept your gaze on the man speaking, his hair was platinum blonde, while his eyes where the color of wine. He stomped his way to you "you'll probably wuss out on the first day...", "hey asshole! At least she's trying!" Carrie screeched to him, he turned towards her and smiled "I like your style, what's your name?", "Carrie Lenz of Berlin.", "well, Carrie, you have nice style." Hearing this made you feel... Jealous. Even though Carrie was beautiful, you felt like there was something about this man... And you wanted it. "Now, how about some training?" He said aloud "target practice it is!" He said. Carrie got out her rifle, while you did the same and tried to shoot, however the way you held the gun made it kick harder and caused you to fall back, you looked to see Carrie aiming perfectly and shooting, bullseye... You saw you bruised your shoulder and shrugged it off, "you ok?" Carrie asked, "yeah, why?" You questioned, "because you can't shoot on a wounded shoulder and because you gashed your forehead." You began to feel a warm liquid trickle down your face, and you started to lose consciousness, you awoke in the infirmary, your shoulder was bandaged up and you were a bit weak, you saw someone in your room. It was Carrie, "hurry, asshole wants to see everyone outside." She said waiting for you to get up. Outside, the leader of the Prussian army stood on a podium, you listened, "alright! Here's the leader of squad 9 Carrie Lenz, the leader of squad 10 is (y/fn) (y/ln)! Squad 9 report to that side," he pointed towards a blonde man with blue eyes who stared at the ground. You gazed up at the man in front of you, he ruffled your hair and stared into your eyes "you'll be on my team, liebling, and I'll be watching you..." He stared at you, you felt his warm breath hit your cold face.

Hey guys, so I found out how to use italics, so this is my first anime x reader story, I've been feeling really sad lately, my great grandma is dying and she's in a lot of pain and... It's been really hard to not think about it... I don't know how to get outta this funk, anyone got any ideas on how to smile?
