The lotus flowers looked so calm on the pond, you sat there watching it, you were never quite the 'peaceful' type of girl, in fact you loved being a happy and optimistic person. But, for your crush... If he wanted it quiet, you'd let it pass... For a while... Until that is, your stomach gurgled, alerting you that you were hungry, "um... Kiku?" You asked, "yes, (y/n)?", "I'm kinda hungry..." Ok, you hadn't eaten in 5 hours and you skipped breakfast... "Oh... Then I suppose you should eat, there's some rice in the kitchen." Rice sounded amazing to you at the moment, especially if Kiku made it.

You scurried over to the table and quickly ate the food without acknowledging that North and South Korea were watching you, "I lost my appetite." North said, "I'll have what she's having!" South said annoyingly. "Hey (y/n), Japan bought some dango candies, your favorite kinds too!" South said excitedly with his curl bouncing. You perked up at hearing that you had new candy... But you felt even greater when you realized that Kiku bought it for you.

You picked up a dango candy and took a bite, it was a pink one, it was sweet and tasted like strawberry, you giggled. You decided to wrap some of the dango candies into a napkin and shove it in your pocket, you ran outside to thank Kiku, but he wasn't at the bench by the pond, you decided to look for him, "Kiku? Where are you?" You called out.

You reached a Sakura blossom tree, and you found him, China, and Hong Kong talking... You knew Japan was close to his brother but you couldn't help but feel jealous, even if he was never one for emotions. Soon, they left each other and you were soon face to face with Hong Kong, "Kiku wants to talk with you, (y/n)." She said softly, you walked up to Kiku's side and was gazing at his dark brown eyes, he turned to your gaze "I'm sorry for not staying at the pond, but I wanted to take a stroll.", "ok...thank you for the yummy treat!" You said shyly, he smiled at you "I know you like dangos... After all, you are just like them.", "hm?" you asked confused as he tilted your head towards him, his face only inches away from yours "because you're... Simple and sweet."

Hey guys... Today is the day my great grandma died... I'm glad she won't suffer anymore but I feel so hollow inside, I'll miss her.
