Be Our Guest

     Mae, a beautiful girl, who has a deep passion for Disney. Her two parents, Meredith and Daniel met while working for Disney's Engineering team in Florida. They wanted to name their child after the company that brought them together. It wasn't long after until they named her Mae, based off of Ellie Mae from the Rescuers. 

     In her early childhood years, Mae's parents would take her on weekly trips to Walt Disney World. Meredith and Daniel were always anxious how she would hate Disney, unlike them. It wasn't until her first visit when she was 2 that her eyes fluttered open like a child in a candy store. Her parents sure did get lucky.

     With the weekly visits, Disney talk, Disney movies, Disney filled home, Mae's entire world revolved around her new found love. As she grew older, her future started to come into the mind. Mae knew exactly what she wanted to do, follow into her parents footsteps. With days and days of perfecting her submission to the Disney College Program, she hit submit.

     5 months later, Mae finally received a response. That was the longest period of her life. She carefully clicked on it, mouth dropping open as she read the entire form. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She. Was. Accepted!!

     Mae steadily carried her last bag into her trunk. She pulled out her list. Bag 1, check. Bag 2, check. And so on. Mae closed the notebook and put it in the passenger seat. It wouldn't be a far drive, but she /had/ to be prepared. Her parents quickly stepped off the porch and next to her, tears starting to fill in their eyes.

     "You'll do great honey." Daniel smiled sadly.

     "Of course she will! She's our special girl." Meredith piped up, grinning.

     "Thank you. Both of you. For being there for me, and for raising me right. I will love and miss you so much." Mae said warmly. She brought both of her parents into hugs. "I guess it's time for me to go. Bye! I love you!" Mae said excitedly.

     "Love you too!" Her parents cheered sadly. They waved as Mae pulled her car out of the driveway and out onto the street, driving away.

     After 30 minutes of driving, Mae reached her first destination. She went into the Disney Apartment building for College Students. It took her some time before finally having all of her respected bags inside her apartment. It was empty, all except for a kitchen. Most of the walls had windows. Mae dropped her bag in disbelief, walking over to the window. She had the most spectacular view of the Cinderella Castle.

     "Isn't it like your dreaming?" Mae heard a voice speak behind her. She turned around, before seeing a girl with wonderful blonde locks. "Oh did I scare you? I tend to do that often." She giggled. "My name is Anna."

     Mae's eyes fluttered open "Like Anna from Frozen?"

     "Yep. Stupid Anna taking my name." She joked. "What's yours?" Anna asked, interested.

     "My name is Mae. Like Ellie Mae from the Rescuers." Mae smiled.

     "I love that name!" Anna took out her hand, waiting for Mae to shake hers. "Well nice to meet you, roomie." Mae smiled, before shaking her hand. 

     Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Anna said in a friendly voice. A man in a blue bellhop suit came in and handed them a letter. 

"Have a great day." The man said before exiting the apartment. Mae opened the letter, Anna reading from behind. The top of the card said:

                                                                            Be Our Guest.

Notes: Hello everyone! I have been dying to do a Disney World fan fic for so long, but I now finally had the time to start. I hope you enjoy, and I cannot wait to write more.
