Calm, morning lights from the sun shone into Mae's room, shining right on her pillow. It was a signal for her to wake up, a gorgeous one at that. Mae's eyes slowly fluttered open, her hands in fists rubbing her eyes.
Rummaging through her closet, Mae quickly found her uniform which she had been assigned to the day before. Her feet tapped silently on the cold wood floor, figuring out the front of her shirt. It was complicated. Once she found the front, she put it on. Walking over to her bedside table, she picked up her phone. Great, she only had 15 minutes to eat before her first day began.
"Good Morning," Anna smiled, handing Mae some french toast. "My own little recipe of French Toast, what do you think?" Mae grabbed the plate from her hands, taking her first bite excitedly. Mae's eyes lit up in delight.
"That's... DELICIOUS!!" Mae jumped up and down like a little kid. "You NEED to make more of these in future mornings." She giggled.

Mae and Anna excitedly walked over to the Magic Kingdom at 7, two hours before the opening of the park. They waited by the gate, wanting to go inside already. Mae looked around, seeing other interns there as well. Quickly after, a woman beyond the gate was walking toward them with Mickey Mouse gloves on. "Welcome to Walt Disney World Interning!" She said with jazz hands.
"My name is Teresa, I will be your director who you will listen to and come to me for ANY questions." Teresa scanned the crowd of nervous but giddy interns. She chuckled "Don't be nervous, I assure you I'm not scary at all." In her hands she held a binder. She pulled it out, taking a filing packet out and reading the names. She called out a name, the person rushing over to get it. "Mae?" She called out. Mae jumped when hearing her name, but walking quickly to get the packet. "Welcome to Disney, Mae." Teresa said with a smile.
Mae held the packet in her hands, walking back to where she originally was. Opening it, she looked at what her task was this week, along with a bunch of information including what to do with that job. Mae smiled, she was Character Assistant this week. That meant she would walk with characters to their spot for a meet and greet, guiding people to where they had to stand and making sure the character was safe. She had to work with one other person also. She wondered who that will be.
"Now that all of you have your packets, that means it's time to head in and get ready for the opening of Magic Kingdom. Step into this whole new world."
Notes: Helloo everyone! Sorry for not updating last week, I had a lot of plans. I'll make sure to update every weekend! Hopefully you are enjoying the story so far.
