"Ariel?!?" I shrieked.
"Guess you heard of me." She smirked. "Jacob is mine, so get your paws off - I don't want him to catch rabies."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah. Now listen; tomorrow at 6:55 P.M you're gonna cancel the plans saying you made new plans with someone else. I hired Mark Thomas to hang out with you."
"What if I don't?"
"I'll take Kenzie. And don't tell ANYONE about this!"
"Fine... And I won't." With that, she left the same way she came in. I felt like pushing her out, I was so mad!
The next day, at 6:55 p.m I did what she wanted me to do.
I texted him.
Me: hey jacob...
Jacob: Hey Mads! Wassuh?
Me: i'm cancelling the plans bc im hanging out w someone else
Jacob: Oh, okay... Who?
Me: don't matter, gtg
Jacob: Oh...ok...🤕
I felt so cruel.
