Chapter 9: Oh, so its BROTHERS now?

JACOB?!

And no, not Sartorius... Jacob as in ARIEL'S BROTHER!

I looked at Maddie with widened eyes. She looked as if she was about to faint.

"What were you doing with my sister?" He asked, glaring with his arms crossed. He knew really, he was just being an awkward weirdo.
"Well..." Maddie sighed. "She was stealing my boy."
"You broke up with Jacob!" He yelled.

Then Jose, Ariel's dad came and everything went black.

I woke up in their basement with Maddie, there was lots of nice food and drink luckily for us to live off.

"Mads, go check the door." I said.
"No, Kenz, you!" She replied, so I ended up checking.
I turned to her, worried. "Maddie, its locked!" When I looked to her she was munching on a Hershey's bar. "This is no time for Hershey's! We need help, there's a plug over there I'll charge my phone.

I went to charge my phone, but there was no service.
"Is there service?" Maddie asked.
"No, nothing!" I sighed. "Not even a bar."
Suddenly, we heard noise from upstairs, it sounded like Jose and Ariels mom Sharone were arguing.

"Jose!" Sharone snapped. "We can't kidnap those two girls for what they did to Ariel, they barely did anything! Let them go!"
"NO, SHARONE!" Jose yelled louder. "GO TO BED!"

And with that Sharone went to bed.

But Jose went elsewhere...
