Stormstar POV:
I held Aurelia's hand as I looked up at the apartment building. I had rented an apartment here, for the two of us. I smiled at her. "Out new home sweetie!" Aurelia looked up skeptically. Then looked up at her aunt. "I don't think Captain America lives in there."
I laughed. "He probably doesn't, but you will meet him soon."
Aurelia raced up the stairs and down the halls. We soon came to our floor, and soon our apartment. I unlocked the door, and Aurelia raced in. It was a small apartment, but it was home for now. I looked at my new kitchen. I am a amazing cook, and we would have a special dinner to celebrate moving in.
I sat Aurelia down, gave her the IPad, and told her to watch Netflix until I came home fro the grocery store. She smiled and said sure, and I smiled back and headed out. I locked the door on the way out, and found one of my new neighbors standing outside. He was a rumpled looking boy of maybe 15, and he looked like he had come home from school. He looked over, greenish blue eyes startled. He was even more startled when a small dog came racing outside, chased by another young man with black/white hair of maybe 21 or 22. "Juniper! Juniper come! Stay!" I stood stock still, having no idea how to help.
Once the small would-be escapee was corralled, I went past and continued. A grocery store was right next door (Convenient) and she entered. A startled teenager looked up from behind the desk. He had blue eyes and brown hair. He reminded me of Bucky Barns (Who I had drooled over when I was younger) in a way. I was willing to bet he was from Brooklyn. His voice startled me. "I'm not Bucky Barns, encase you were wondering. My name is Cal, and I'm from Japan." That again startled me because he didn't look very Japanese. Though he was absorbed in his phone now, so I left it.
After buying everything I would need for Pancakes (And buying a few plums) I walked out. Someone in the uniform the kid had been wearing walked in as I was leaving, and the kid followed me. I didn't show I noticed, but I noticed. I was smart, and I was nervous. He followed me into the building, to my floor, but entered a apartment next to mine. the escapee this time was a German Shepard who seemed overjoyed to see the kid. "Bucky, calm down big guy!" He laughed, and she heard laughter from inside the apartment. Storm smiled to herself as she entered her own apartment, to find a excited Aurelia telling her that she had seen Captain America through the peephole and he did live in the building.
Kodiac POV:
Kodi had been a little surprised that Nico had come back to the apartment building with Eclipse and his dogs.
Kodi and Eclipse were old friends, they had been best friends in Highschool and even before that. Eclipse had been talented in first aid, leading him to want to be a paramedic. It was not working well for him after the.. Whatever happened to Eclipse and Kodi.
Apon seeing each other, the two men had hugged. Eclipse hadn't heard from or seen Kodi since he had come back, and Eclipse demanded to know why. Kodi had not really wanted to explain, but had been forced to because Eclipse had given him a look that always made Kodi go soft. "I didn't want to get your hopes up that she.. You know, replied or called. I knew that if I called, you would think it was her and you would sound all hopeful and when you heard my voice you would be all disappointed. Very similar issue with texting."
That had been a good enough explanation for Eclipse.
So Kodi had went back to his apartment, and had curled into a ball.
(Any guesses to who it was? (It wasn't the real cap))
