Made-Love

My mother opened the door, I sat in the loveseat in the family room and Waited.

Being the daughter of two rich people, is stressful, being forced to be homeschooled, and not allowed to talk to people on the streets.

"Here is Lillian." My mother said, leading my soon-to-be-fiance into the living room.

I stood up, brushing myself off. "I go by Lily." I said, not wanting to enter a conversation.

"It's Ethan." The man said. He was dressed in a black suit and had black framed glasses.

I shook his hand and he sat across from me. My mother left me in the room with him.

"So, are you being forced into this too?" Ethan said. I looked stunned.

"You don't wanna do this either?" I said, taking away my snooty accent.

Surprisingly he didn't have one either. "No, no way, I mean, you seem cool, but I never really wanted to do this at twenty-three."

We whispered to each other about what we like to do in our spare time.

"When my mother isn't home, I like to play video games to my butler's GameCube." I said, laughing, making it sound like not such a big deal.

"Really? I love video games! I do the same thing, but with my maid." Ethan said, fixing his glasses, upon his face.

"So you ready to go, Lily?" Ethan said from downstairs.

I hummed a yes and walked down wearing a elegant dress and my contacts ran out, so I wore my white framed glasses.

My brown hair and red highlights fell past my shoulders, and landed about an inch from my waist.

Ethan looked great, he was wearing the same thing he wore earlier, but for some reason I noticed something, he had blue hair.

"What happened to your brown hair, buddy?" I laughed.

He looked up, as he was looking at his hair and touched it, "Oh, I had to dye it, kinda for a- dare."

"Well I think it looks nice!" I said.

"T-Thanks." Ethan stuttered.

I laughed, "Come on Middle Schooler."
