What If

(Alexis's POV)

I was walking along the corridor when someone called out to me, it was Zen, one of my classmates.
"Hey! What's up Alexis? Aren't you going to watch the basketball match today?" –Zen
Basketball Match? Wah! I almost forgot!

It is the first day of our Sports week and my bestfriend, Justin, is playing for our team, the blue team, for the basketball match.
"Are you listening to me Alexis?" –Zen
"Ah yeah. Come on let's cheer for the blue team!" I quickly replied
"Blue team? Or for Justin?" Zen grinned
"Huh? What are you talking about" I blushed
Damn! Calm down!

"Ha! As if you don't know!" she winked at me then she grabbed my hand and led the way.

When we arrived at the gymnasium, the blue team is on the lead.
"Go blue team!" Zen started to cheer so I decided to join in too as the crowd chanted.
"Blue team! Blue team!"

Before the game ended, Justin scored a buzzer-beater. The crowd went wild as they cheered.
MVP again huh?

"Alexis, I have somewhere else to go. Would you be fine by yourself now?" Zen asked.
"Yeah sure. Go on ahead."
"Okay. Bye."

I went to sit on the benches when suddenly my stomach grumbled.
Oh no! I forgot to eat breakfast again!

"Hey thanks for the cheer!"

I looked up and Justin walking towards me smiling.
"You're welcome! Great match by the way." I said as I move aside to let him sit beside me.
"Ah well you see, I'm the crowds favorite!" he said as he put his arm around my shoulders. "Aren't you jealous?" he teased.
I looked at him blankly when he continued talking.
"May I ask you something?"
"What is it?" I asked without looking at him.
"Haven't it occurred your mind? What if... what if we haven't been friends, especially bestfriends... what would we be right now?" he asked looking at me.
I wasn't expecting him to ask me that.
I looked at him. I was really surprised. He stared at me and gave a deep sigh.
"What if I fall inlove with you? What would you do?"

I was out of words, I just stared at him.
"What if I tell you now that I Love You?"

"Hey sleepyhead! Wake up!"

Argh! I've been dreaming again?
"Are you alright now? You fainted awhile ago." It's Justin
I looked around and I realized that I'm on the clinic.
"When I couldn't find you after the match, I looked for you."
"I went to sit on the benches..."
"Yeah. Zen told me so. Then I carried you here when you fainted there. You didn't eat you're breakfast again did you?" he was angry at me now.
"Uhm..." I was puzzled. What if... What if it's not only a dream?
