Ok, you guys - it's time for the second contest. This time, I'm giving you ten word/phrases. Choose three of these and they must be included in your story somewhere. The story has a word limit of 750 words IT CANNOT BE OVER but entries as low as 50 words will be accepted.
(Personal pronouns such as I can be changed to she or he or one or a name and pronouns such as my can be changed to his or her or one's or a name's.)

The big red balloon,
The MacDonald family,
My Mother's funeral,
That was when Emily FingerWhistle died.
The fairground ride,
Juliet's sister,
I like hats,
I think I'm going mad,
Today, I'm going to the pet shop,
I love meeting new people,
Some of them are easier than others, try to come up with something unique.
