Imagine...

You run across the halls, hitting here and there a nurse's arm or tripping over one's foot. You finally get to the room you were looking for; room 528.

"Brendon!" You shout, tears filling your eyes. "Oh, god baby, I was so worried when I got the call! Thank god you're okay! T-Tell me, what happened?" You ask.

"S-Sorry, but who are you?" He asks.

"Brendon, y-you don't remember me? It's me! I'm your wife!" You say, now plain crying.

"I... I don't have a wife," he says, confused. He looks completely lost, sitting on his hospital bed, his pale skin looking ever paler in his blue hospital gown.

"B-But... How could you forget? We-we were married for three years. W-We have a son together, Austin. H-He's two years old. You d-don't remember him either?" You ask, broken in two halves.

"I-I'm sorry but... No," he adds.

"I... I think I'd better go... Goodbye, Brendon," you say, leaving the room.

You walk slowly, trying not to scream. You walk down the same halls in which you previously ran and only focus on putting one foot in front of the other one.

You remember getting the call from Spencer, telling you how Brendon got into a car accident and how he nearly died. You remember getting in your car faster than you ever did and driving to the hospital. Those painful flashbacks only make you even more sad as you get down the stairs to exit the building.

Behind you, you can hear someone yelling.

"Get the fuck out of my way! She's my wife down there! I don't care if I need to lay down, what I need is to get my wife back, so GET. OUT. OF. MY. WAY."

You turn around to see what's happening and suddenly feel arms get wrapped around you. You look up to see your beautiful husband holding you in his arms, kissing your head. You close your eyes and kiss his lips, making sure to enjoy every second of this.

He pulls away and whispers to you ear,

"Babe, I remember now."
