HARPER'S POV

I slept in.

I was exhausted from travelling down to London and meeting new people so I enjoyed some extra time in bed, something I had not previously been used to.

I was awoken by the smell of bacon and fresh coffee, I put on a hoodie and shuffled downstairs still half asleep taking my phone off charge and down with me.

"Good morning Harper, you alright?" John asked.

I smiled and nodded at him as I walked into the kitchen to get some breakfast.

Izzy was in there cooking up a storm: bacon, sausage, toast and every type of egg that you can think of! She smiled at me and handed me a plate, implying for me to help myself. I need some energy for the big day ahead of me - finding a place to stay.

After I got showered and dressed, I decided to leave and go on a hunt, not really knowing where I was going but loving the sense of adventure.

IZZY'S POV

Harper left at about midday saying she was going to find her own place to live. John and I told her she could stay with us for as long as she wanted but she argued saying she was interrupting our 'detective-y' stuff. "No" we told her, "your not interrupting anything", but she was adamant about going so we left her to it. We knew she wouldn't find anything suitable or in her budget, not in the middle of London.

Sherlock was just happy to get rid of another voice.

"So, Izzy, what were you talking about last night?" Sherlock asked me when Harper had left.

He doesn't really say much when she's here but when she's out of earshot, he fills us in on current cases, evidence or solutions.

I don't think Sherlock trusts Harper. Something which upsets me but I suppose it's something you have to earn.

"Well" I say "I think Harper has met Moriarty"

John choked on his drink of tea and spluttered, "Why on earth would you think that?"

"Because she said she had met this guy that knew me while she was waiting at the train station. When I asked her to describe him, it perfectly fit Moriarty, I'm worried Sherlock, what if she's in danger?"

"Danger? Danger! How could she be in danger? Jim Moriarty is dead Izzy. Dead. You have to be wrong there is no possible way she could have met him. You are talking about the impossible! And, as you know, once you eliminate the impossible-"

"whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth" I finish his quote for him but he doesn't seem to notice

"Conclusion: Harper met someone who looked like the man we know as Moriarty and he tried to scare her. Just arrived in London, easy target."

"I'm sure Harper is fine, she can look after herself" John comforted me.

I know he's only saying that to make me feel better but I smile at him and try to relax.

HARPER'S POV

Bored.

I've been walking around London for approximately two hours and I'm already bored. How hard is it to find a place to live?

It was quite fun to start with actually, having the excitement of picturing yourself in a couple years from now living in this specific apartment which you've planned and decorated just how you want. And maybe living with a certain someone. Or maybe just alone with a pet - currently the future I'm heading towards by the looks of things.
