Part 3: The Spider Cat

*When Mercy’s vision returned to her, she found herself in a smaller version of what looked like the Hub Realm. Mercy did notice that most of everything in the Hub Realm was gone,  but she still found it reminded her of the Hub Realm. She noticed that there was a large gate of some kind blocking off most of the rest of the realm. She approached the gate. At the front of the gate,  there seemed to be some sort of checkpoint station. She looked into the window of the station. There was a male figure that seemed to only have one eye,  but besides that,  he seemed normal. He was wearing some kind of futuristic guard uniform*

“Guard: Identification card,  please.”

*Mercy nodded,  and whipped out her card. She slid it under the window. The guard took it and looked over it*

“Guard: Ah, a newbie, eh? No wonder you're going in unarmed.”

*The guard slid the card back to Mercy. Mercy took the card back,  and looked to the guard*

“Guard: You're free to go.”

“Mercy: Wait, why would I need to be armed?”

*The guard pulled some kind of lever, and the gate opened*

“Guard: You'll find out soon enough.”

*Mercy was getting more worried now, but she took a step forward. The gate shut behind her. Mercy looked around.  She seemed to be in some kind of lobby. She saw a barrier of some kind. She couldn't tell if the barrier was futuristic or magic. She walked through the barrier,  and found herself in a field of some sort. She could see caves,  mountains,  forests,  and other biomes off in the distance.  She nervously began walking towards the forests. Everything was so quiet. The silence was actually making Mercy uncomfortable. She felt like at any second she may get jumped, but she pressed on. Mercy eventually made it to the forest after hours of walking. Granted, her walking wasn’t her usual walking speed due to her being nervous. She walked around in the forest, looking around*

“Mercy: What am I supposed to do? These are the Vore Realms, so I was thinking there’d be something, or more accurately, someone to eat.”

*Suddenly, an arrow whizzes past Mercy’s face, slamming into a tree. Mercy yelped, and looked to the arrow*

“Mercy: W-where did this come from?”

*Mercy’s fear was building, when suddenly, another arrow whizzed past, catching the sleeve of her shirt. She screamed, and yanked the arrow out. She quickly began running. Arrows began speeding past her, each time just barely missing, until one finally hits her leg. She yells out in pain and falls to the ground. She looked to her leg and pulled the arrow out. The arrow had a strange substance running off of the tip. She could hear footsteps coming closer. Her heart began racing. If this thing didn’t kill her, the fear would. She saw a strange humanoid figure. The figure had clothing on that resembled something a stereotypical ninja would wear. It had tentacles instead of arms and legs, and it had a tentacle scarf covering it’s mouth. It was carrying a crossbow, and it had a quiver stocked with arrows on its back. The figure pulled an arrow from its quiver, and loaded the crossbow. The crossbow was aimed right between Mercy’s eyes, when something grabs her by the hair, and Mercy was dragged into a hole in the ground. She screamed, but was quickly silenced by a strange sticky substance being wrapped around her mouth*

“???: Shhh! Are you trying to get yourself killed?!”

*Mercy quieted down at this, and looked around, scared. It was pitch black, but she saw a pair of glowing yellow cat-like eyes looking at her in the darkness. A candle was lit, and before her sat a female humanoid figure. The figure had a small chest and thin waist. Its skin was snow white, and it had large cat ears and a cat’s tail. The thing seemed to be the same size as Mercy. It smiled, showing large fangs*
