I'm sorry I disappeared.

I'm very depressed.

No, this isn't me coming back for good. I'm coming back long enough to publish this, and then I'll probably vanish again.

Sorry.

But on a different note, has this really only been seven chapters? It feels like this has been going on longer than that.

And for once, I wasn't scrambling to finish this past midnight on Sunday. I actually got it done on Saturday, so YAY ME; I STOPPED PROCRASTINATING.

But is this edited at all? No, no it is not.

Megan landed gracefully on the Netherrack, closely followed by Athena, Olivia, and Wolfe. They had their weapons drawn and were ready for a fight.

"What the...where are they?" Athena asked, noticing that Jacky and Salem were nowhere in sight.

"Aaaargh, they tricked us! Stupid cretins!" Megan growled. "C'mon, let's go back." The tall girl put away her bow angrily and turned to go back through the portal. Right as she stepped towards it, it shattered, breaking into infinite purple and black shards.

"What the hell?!" Olivia exclaimed, staring at the spot where the portal had been only seconds before.

"What happened?! How is that possible?!" Wolfe shrieked. Athena picked up one of the portal shards. "They broke the portal somehow. Even the obsidian."

"No way. They couldn't've done it that fast. You can't just break obsidian like that." Olivia objected. Athena shrugged, making her black cloak swish. "Then I don't know what happened."

Megan tossed her arms into the air in a thoroughly exasperated motion. "Well that's just great. Stuck in the Nether, of all places!"

"At least it's not falling apart." Wolfe offered timidly.

Megan ignored her. "Not to mention that we don't know of an exit portal or the materials to build one! And to top it off, we're separated from the others! Those stupid supervillains could've killed them!"

"We know. Geez, quit the negativity." Athena snapped. Megan glared at her. "Before you even say it, there is no bright side here. We're stuck. In the Nether. With only half our group. While the world is ending."

"Hm. When you put it like that, it does seem pretty awful." Olivia commented.

"Oh, shush. We need to figure out what to do." Athena told them. Megan rolled her eyes. "Yeah, like we can just plan our way out of this mess."

Athena immediately went for the defensive. "It doesn't have to be some ridiculous elaborate thing, we just need to decide what we're going to do about this."

Megan widened her eyes sarcastically. "Escape. Duh."

"Who died and made you leader?" Athena asked, crossing her arms. Megan tossed her head, making her black and green hair flip haughtily. "I'm not taking charge, I'm just stating the obvious."

"...which we have absolutely no need for." Athena pointed out. "Being the biggest brat doesn't automatically put you in charge."

The taller girl stiffened, caught off guard. "You're calling me a brat? You're the one who's getting in my face about 'leadership'."

Athena snorted disdainfully. "Yeah right. 'Getting in your face', not hardly. You're just-"

Wolfe groaned loudly. "Would you two STOP?!"
