There was nothing but darkness, Meghan looked around desperately but couldn't see a single thing no matter how hard she looked around, trying to determine what was happening as the sound of gunshots subsided and now were replaced by the sounds of punches landing and people groaning in pain. Meghan couldn't see but she could hear everything, she could practically hear the sounds of bones crunching with each punch. The sounds that filled the room suddenly stopped and soon there was nothing but the sound of a man panting over by the door.

"Josh? Is that you?" Meghan asked, trying to feel her way around. The palm's of her hands brushing against every surface she could feel around her in hopes that she'd eventually find her brother. Her hands brushed against the dead bodies that littered the ground, she cried out knowing that someone had killed her attackers and she was hoping that the someone was her brother.

He was bleeding out, the knife that had been sunk into his stomach was still there and causing an extreme amount of pain, so much so that he did something regrettable and pulled the knife right from his stomach before dropping it to the ground and hobbled back towards the cabin door. He tumbled over and fell to the ground, he couldn't stand for the time being but he didn't stop, he began to crawl his way towards the door. He could hear what they were doing to his beloved sister and he hated it. He was determined to do anything to stop them and once again be his sister's hero, like he had been countless of times before then.

He crawled his way up the small walkway, coughing up blood and trying his best to ignore the pain. He slowly pulled himself back to his feet, falling back somewhat but catching himself ether quickly. He coughed up even more blood and began to feel a little light headed but nothing was going to stop him from helping his sister and ending the lives of all those who had wronged him and had hurt her. He grabbed onto a small knife and sank it into Greg's shoulder. Greg yelled out furiously but the men ignored him. Josh twisted the knife before reaching down into Greg's belt and pulling his pistol from its holster. Greg was yelling wildly but still the men ignored him, this gave Joshua the opportunity to raise the gun and fire on the crowd of men that were surrounding his sister like a pack of wolves. The sound of the gunshots ringing off was like a cannon being fired, and the echo it caused could still be heard bouncing off the walls of the cabin. Joshua could feel his hand shake as he continued firing the gun, taking out three of them before turning the gun to Greg's temple and pulling the trigger. For some unknown reason this shot rang out louder than the rest, brain matter splattered all over the wall and floor; some even got on Joshua's cheek and face. Joshua shook the ringing out of his ears and clenched his jaw as he dropped the limp body to the ground and charged at the last remaining man in the room who was none other than Derek; the monster who started all chaos in the first place.

Joshua tackled the man to ground and punched him a few times in the head before feeling a sharp pain in his stomach and that was Derek's fingers digging into his open knife wound. Joshua hissed out in pain and collided his head to Derek's before being kicked in the groin. Joshua recoiled back, groaning out in pain from the blow he just took. He crawled up to his feet but before he could continue to fight the man, he felt Derek's fist connect to his face several times. Each punch felt harder than the last but that would not stop him from killing the man known as Derek. He was struck in the side of the head, which caused a bit more pain the previous punches. Josh connected his fist to Derek's chin and fell back to the ground in an attempt to create some distance which worked out successfully. Derek charger at Joshua but quickly he kicked Derek right in the stomach causing him to stumble back against a wall. Joshua saw this as an opportunity and quickly pressed his forearm into the man's neck.

"What are you waiting for you fucking coward?" Derek screamed and that was the trigger. Joshua backed away somewhat but quickly slammed his forearm against the man's throat, instantly silencing him permanently.
