Labyrinth

I wake to see,

your empty faces,

prescriptions grow,

“We must sedate this.”

crucify the entity,

of anything,

and everything,

that you fear,

stabilized identities,

as I remarkably,

laugh in the face of your God,

mock the wooden stakes,

of hallow hymns,

I grab the scalpel,

don’t need to forgive,

autopsy all your martyrs,

dig through their skulls,

and call their fathers,

compare the brains,

what is this blasphemy?

the apes have scoffed,

upon the apple’s core,

of creation itself,

though such a whore,

to fuck all its puppets,

led so astray,

we must forget,

“‘Tis a sin”

To act as human nature taught to be,

claimed as “One Nation”

such a disgrace,

insects without spines,

all turned to rust,

But, oh you claim,

it’s for the good,

of all mankind,

“kind” has no place,

you sold out all but the “I”

long ago,

so still you pray,

and kiss your knives,

do what your told,

it’s televised,

hang the tvs,

in front of the flowers,

in a wasteland,

where the blind gain all power,

as the parents scream,

“Oh, watch your tongue!”

as father cleans,

a loaded gun,

“Why censor what is not true?”

and next comes the claim,

of what I rue,

that cowards fall,

before dear Christ,

I take the cross,

on which he laid,

and crucify the brains,

still I see the fear,

flash again,

the fairy tales have died,

my friend,

children you can wake,

and eat your lies,

but I stole all the milk,

I’ll give it to,

each and every one of you,

but listen now,

for here’s a clue,

the voices know I’m already dead,

you may enter the labyrinth,

and accept,

“The ego has died!”

“The ego has died!”

was said,

Never.

And I sever,

the tongue.
