People are something who needs to be cared for not used as weapons for some purpose to destroy things. Everyone has feelings that can either be built up, or broken down, but that's how others treat each other. This is where our story starts.

There was once a race of lizards that decided that they wanted to be the strongest race in the entire Universe. In order to complete this goal or soul desire the lizards built a machine that could destroy planets but needed something to power it. The machine needed a person who had extraordinary power and that same power running through their veins within her blood. These lizards started off by destroying the cats home world in order to start with the weakest race then go up to the highest race. Since then the lizards have been destroying races ever since. The one person they need was a girl about to turn eighteen named Gabby Garcia.

Gabby was born on a planet called Prime with her mother and father. Her family moved to Earth to be as far away from these lizards. Her childhood was a bit weird to her because her mother and father wouldn't stay in one place for more than two months. She got tired of moving a lot, because she had made so many friends in the two months before they would move, then never saw them again. Gabby heard her parents talking once about how they had to keep moving to get away from the scales. She thought about everything with scales, but couldn't think of anything dangerous that would have them keep moving.

Gabby had moved from place to place until she was fifteen when her parents placed her in an abandon house to hide when the creatures that her parents called scales came out to attack them. This abandon house was located in New York. Gabby ran up to the top of the third floor to peek out of one of the windows to see what was going on. There she saw her father fighting off these huge lizards that was covered in armor, and carried one long black sword, and one guns of some sort. Her father was doing a good job fighting off the lizards when one of the lizards pierced its black sword through his chest.

Gabby's mother turned to watch her husband fell to the ground, and felt an undying rage go through her heart. She picked up a branch before charging the lizards, but the same lizard that killed her husband had swung his sword at her; cutting through the branch as if it was butter. Gabby's mother had a deep slice across her chest as she turned around to look at Gabby through the window as she saw the horror on her face. The lizard came up behind her, as he took a strong swing and killed the mother right in front of Gabby as she watched her mother fall to the ground dead.

Before Gabby could scream the lizard spoke out in a dark evil tone that sent shivers down her spine. These things killed her parents and now might kill her. She wondered why her parents had to die, or why these damn lizards had to exist. Before she could do anything the lizard spoke English.

Where are you young one. We wont hurt you. said the lizard in the dark tone.

S...she's not here. Our daughter might be across b....by now. said the father as he slowly tried to get to his feet.

So why aren't you with her boy? Aren't you her protectors? asked the same lizard.

We knew. We knew that you were coming after her, so we sent her to live far from us as possible. You only fell in our trap. said the father as he pulled a grenade out of his pocket.

Just tell us where she is, and we will leave this place. said the lizard.

No, lets see how well you are about hide and seek. She is about seven thousand miles away from where we are now. But which way should you go? North, South, East, or West, I'm not going to say. Here you go scales, catch! yelled the father as he threw the grenade after pulling the pin out of it.

The lizard only showed his sword as he sliced it open to only see silver crusted bits that could kill any lizard or people like the father it hit. There was no time to dodge it as the grenade exploded killing the lizards, but also the father. The silver shards went everywhere preaching the house, but getting no where near Gabby because she was too high to get hit by the blast. She moved back to the window to see her father dead as well as the lizard people that once stood there alive. Now she was alone, but she knew that she had to get out of here to only get a head start on the lizard people as there would be more to come. She was headed towards Tucson, Arizona where she would move through town to town.
