Lizards vs Drifters

Chapter 2

All the way away from New York where Gabby watched her parents die, to the hottest place in the world was a group of five boys that were the best of the best. These five boys were in high school, but had no home or any parents. These five boys lived in this garage that was filled with car parts, and nitrogen tanks that were all brand new. It was like a racers dream come true as the boys only found it in the middle of the desert. These five boys were named Rico who was the oldest at seventeen, John who was sixteen, plus Ricos younger brother, Johnny who was also sixteen, Josh who was fifteen, and Jimmy who was also fifteen.

These boys built their cars out of the parts that were just laying everywhere, and made some cars that were unique in certain ways, but also worth a lot of money. There was one thing that made it home was how they were the only ones there plus there was no rent. Rico found the garage when he was searching for a place to stay for his team when they found it, and made it home base. Having the five cars that were never seen before, the five boys started to become drifters while going to school.

Rico and his team went to Superior High school which had about four thousand kids enrolled into it. Good thing it was a huge school or else there would be more fights than ever with all the group. There was the typical groups like jock, geeks, cheers, nerds, but there was also the street fighters, plus the drifter which was only Rico, and his team. The school was involved with four or five problems a day of the different clubs, and students getting into it with each other about the smallest things. It would turn into a huge brawl that the teachers would call the police. Most of the fights would be between the jocks and the street fighter as they would see who was the strongest in the school, but it was always the street fighters who would win, but get caught by the cops.

When the police were called the school was empty because everyone was either carrying something that was illegal or was about to do something stupid. Rico and his team would run to the garage across from the school, and pick their cars up to get away fast because the police thought it was strange for high school students to have expensive cars at such a young age. The police has chased after Rico and his brothers before, but none of the times have been success for the cops as they lose them every time. It was weird how they could the police every time, but it had to be a coincidence. The five boys were the best, and the school knew it too well. The drifting club was made into a private club because no one was able to pass the test Rico would set up for them.

The test was a time score of racing through the city, and coming back to the school in under twenty minutes. Everyone who took the test failed by being late, or being caught by the police. No one was able to beat Ricos score which was one fifteen minutes and twenty seconds. That time was displayed on the wall in mechanics class, as the group started to build cars, or fix them. Life was alright for the five boys as they had no idea what was going to happen the next day.
