I was sitting in my bedroom by myself, scrolling through my Twitter. I soon get a call from Mateo. I let it ring a few times then I answer it.
"Hey." I answer.
"I'm sorry." Mateo sighed. "You were right. You're always right."
"I'm sorry too." I told him.
"Why are you sorry?" He questioned.
"Because," I said. "I put you through so much everyday."
"Remember when we were in Paris six months ago, and I promised you somethin'?" He asked.
"Of course. I promised too. Through thick and thin, Imma be by your side." I explained.
"And I don't wanna break my promise. I'm coming over in ten." He hung up.
There is just something about Teo that makes me not want to lose him. I mean, we've almost been together seven months. We have gone through a lot, really. I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. I noticed how I've changed. I'm not giving the attitude that much. I'm more positive and happy. And it's all because of Mateo. He's the one changing me into a better person than I am. In about ten minutes, I heard Mateo's voice in the living room. He walked into my room and just wrapped me in a big hug.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear. I smiled. Usually, when he says he loves me is in a best friend way, not in a romantic way.
"I love you." I kissed his cheek.
"Wait, like really?" He let go. I nodded my head. He was blushing so hard.
"Seriously, I love you." I told him.
"Come here." He licked his lips and kissed me. (does anyone else find it a turn on when boys say "come here" with that cute ass face and they lick their lips before they kiss you? i do for sure.)
"Damn I love when you do that." I look at him.
"What?" He asked.
"Bruh, when you lick your lips and do that cute face before you kiss me." I sigh.
"Whatever. How's prom stuff going? You did get your dress right?" Mateo asked me.
"Um, I don't know if I'm going." I shrugged.
"Bitch, you going." Teo was surprised.
"You're not gonna be there unless I get you a guest pass." I put my hands on my hips.
"BITCH WE GOIN." He cheered.
"Fine." I shook my head. "I'm hungry."
"Oh, I ordered pizza." Teo told me. "Because I know you love it. It'll be here soon."
"Alright." I shrugged. I went into the living room and saw Ayo lookin' at me.
"I told you." He mouthed.
"Love you!" I mouthed back.
"Okay, well we needa go grocery shopping, so we'll be back guys. Oh and if ya'll trynna hook up, there is protection in the bathroom if you need it." Cece smiled at me.
"Now I know that you and my brother are fuckin." Mateo walks in the living room and wraps his arms around me.
"You have no proof. Bye now." Ayo grabbed Cece's hand and they walked out the door.
"You are so annoying." I pushed Mateo. "Ugh, I am hungryyy."
About a couple seconds later, the doorbell rang. I quickly got up and opened the door. The pizza was already paid for so I set it on the table and take out plates and soda. Mateo came in and sat down. I opened up the pizza and oh my gosh. The pizza said "Prom?" in pepperoni.
"I know it's cheesy, but let me do the honor of taking you to your prom." Mateo smiled at me.
"Awh! Of course!" I hugged him. "Can I eat now?"
"Yeah yeah. Go ahead." He smiled at me.
1 Week Later:
Yo, I am so stressed out. I needa dress, get my nails done, my hair, ugh. Prom is a month away. I'm going dress shopping with Cece because I have no other friends. I didn't want to get anything too expensive. I didn't go to junior prom because I wanted my senior one to be special. Mateo and I decided on the color maroon. Since it was our seven month anniversary on the day of prom. He didn't really care what kinda dress it was as long as I was comfortable and happy with it. I looked through so many stores and so many dresses, until I found the perfect one. I felt so beautiful and elegant in it.

It was only one hundred dollars on sale. The original price was one-eighty. I already had a pair of heels to wear at home. I sent a picture to Mateo.

I'm sorry!!!!!! I have so much other stuff to do. So I decided to go w the prom theme since it is prom season at my school.
