A Dream

Chapter 3

Scarlet's View:

There my best friend went, down the road, oblivious to my numerous shouts. She didn't even see my raincoat so I guess she's secretly blind. But I needed to catch up to Patricia before she disappeared for good. After a couple long blocks, she finally stopped walking. I was short so I took really small steps, even when running. I didn't want to injure my leg, again.

"Gosh you walk fast, didn't you hear me calling your name?" I said breathlessly once I finally caught up to her

"Sorry I was following this really cute guy. He was tall, dark haired, blue eyes, and just utterly breathtaking."

"Speaking of cute guys, I just met 5 Seconds of Summer."

"WHAT!? SHUT THE HELL UP! Are you serious?" she practically screamed. "You are so fucking lucky!"

"Yep, and Michael even offered to take us both to the gamers convention, isn't that exciting?"

"Shut up!"

"Okay then" I teased, a smirk growing on my face.

"Nooo, tell me!" she whined

"Finee. Michael invited us to go with him and the boys later. I almost said no, but I really wanted to hang out with him and Luke."I explained. "also you would've killed me for passing up a chance for you to hang out with Ashton."

"That I would have." she said laughing

"So c'mon, let's go get a bite to eat, I'm starving."

"WHAT!? No, we're going shopping for the perfect outfits and getting our hair done. Ashton will love me."

"You know this isn't the red carpet right?" I asked giggling

"Yes, but I don't want to go there a slob. So c'mon let's go."

"No I'm hungry!"

"Fine we'll go get food after shopping, then we'll get our hair done. Deal?" she questioned

"Deal." I agreed. I absolutely hated shopping, but there was food involved so I couldn't argue.

(Three Hours Later)

"Are you even sure they're coming?" Patricia asked nervously while fiddling with her zero suit samus costume.

"Yes, they told me to wait for them right outside the door." actually, they never told me where to meet them, but if Patricia found out she would flip. I nervously stared at my phone to make it look like I was talking to them.

"Ugh I don't think they're coming. Why did I trust you? Ugh. Well your my best friend so that explains most of this." she said nervously.

"You're over reacting, I'm sur-"

"THERE THEY ARE! MY BEAUTIFUL HUSBAND! OMG OMG OMG!" she said cutting me off.

I looked up from my phone, to see that they actually were here. They were walking so casual it looked like they went to these things a lot. Which they probably did the fact being that they were all gamers. But how did they handle all of the glances they got due to the marvel costumes they were wearing? Did they play Cap Com VS Marvel or something? I don't think I'd ever know.

"Hey, you girls ready?" Ashton asked once they all reached me and Patricia. Patricia was so nervous she couldn't even speak. All she could do was nod up and down consistently, smiling like an idiot.

"Uh, yeah. I think so." I said. Double checking to make sure my Shiek costume was still perfect.

"Great, let's go!" Calum practically squealed. He ran into the building, practically throwing his pass at the guards.

"Calum! Wait for us!" Ashton whined then ran after him, Patricia following him immediately.

"Looks like we've been split into groups." Michael said

"Yep and we've got the better girl." Luke said happily

"Well then, um, shall we go?" I asked awkwardly

"Yes we shall" they both said and with that, we walked into the building.

Ashton's View:

When we walked inside all I could think of was, wow. I could barely process what was going on. And from the looks of it Patricia couldn't in general. She was gawking at everything, but it was adorable. Then the fact that she was dressed as one of my favorite characters from Super Smash Bros made her look even more attractive. I absolutely love her gamer side, we were having a decent conversation until she saw a Brawl stand and ran straight there. She started fangirling and had Calum take her picture with all of the characters of the game. I was laughing at the sidelines and started to turn around to head over to the Cap Com VS Marvel stand until I heard,

"Ashton come take a picture with me and Marth!"

"No I would probably clash."

"How so?"

"I'm Robin, you're zero suit samus, he's Marth, I'm the only marvel character." I said chuckling

"Oh c'mon Ash! Take a picture with her, unless you're too chicken to take a picture with a hotty?" Calum teased

"Ok ok I'm coming. Geez."

"Yay!" Patricia squealed. She even did a little happy dance that was so adorable it made a mini donkey look icky.

"Thank you! Now let's keep walking around. There's so much we need to take part in and see!" she said

"Then let's get going." I chimed

"Wait, where are Scarlet, Luke, and Michael?" Patricia asked

"probably flirting or having a three some." Calum teased. I started cracking up hard.

"No cause Scarlet's still a virgin. She wouldn't do that, I don't think." She said

"Idk, Michael can be very persuasive at times." I said nudging at Calum. We all started laughing and while we began moving onto other stands.

We looked at all the stands that we came across. Patricia surprisingly knew a lot of the anime video games, while me and Cal stuck with the main ones. We were at about the third Kirby stand when we all smelled something delicious.

"Pizza!" we chanted at the same time. We started laughing and began making our way to what looked like a food court. When we got there we discovered the longest line we've ever seen.

"What the fuck is this line for?" I asked dumb founded

"The food." a boy in a Link costume said. "We stood in the line for about and hour before we got our food. Gamers can be so picky."

"Well we better get in line before it gets longer." Patricia said

"yeah we probably shou-"

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Ring! Ring! Ring!

"Oh gosh. I better take this. Can you get me two slices of pepperoni?" Calum asked

"yeah sure. Wait is it Rianna again?" I asked

"Yeah, we always call each other at the worst moments. Haha, excuse me."

"Mkay you're excused." with that he walked off and got lost in the crowd.

"Looks like it's just us then." Patricia said laughing

"yep." I said, gosh I hope I don't ruin everything.
