The Light in His Life(Gaara romance)

Preliminaries: Part 2

Aris didn't pay much attention to anyone's fight after that, she was too tired. So pretty much the sum of it:
Sasuke won, she was at first worried cuase of the curse mark but Aris and Kai were both happy he won. After, Kakashi left with him to deal with the curse mark.
Kankuro won.
Temari won, but Aris was pissed on how she treated Tenten.
Sakura and Ino were in a draw.
Naruto's match....well-
Flashback
Naruto stood in front of Kiba, he said nothing just stared.
"Hah! Looks like we caught a lucky break Akamaru! This should be a piece of cake!" He said arrogantly. Naruto sighed.
"Don't be so sure mutt, I'm already bored." He said. Kiba growled.
"Why you!" Kiba rushed Naruto and punched him, sending him into the wall. Kiba smirked when Naruto didn't get up.
"Not so tough now huh? Proctor you better call the match, he's done for." Kiba said.
"Is that really all you got?" Naruto said, now standing unharmed. Kiba was in disbelief.
"But how did-"
"You really need to stop underestimating your opponent Kiba.....that'll get you killed one day." Naruto said narrowing his eyes into an icy glare. Kiba stepped back then looked around for Akamaru but the little pup couldn't be seen.
"Looking for this?" Kiba heard behind him, he looked to see a clone of Naruto holding an unconscious Akamaru.
"Akamaru!" Kiba yelled.
"He's fine, I just used some sleeping powder on him. I'm not found if hurting innocent animals. You however........annoy me, give up and no one gets hurt." The real Naruto said. Kiba growled angrily.
"I will end you!" He yelled running at Naruto. Said blonde smirked mischievously and then held his nose.
"Sorry about this, your nose might be damaged." He said, then he turned and let loose.....aka he farted at Kiba. (XD Sorry, I really didn't want to not add that part) Kiba took a great whiff and jumped back holding his nose and crying out in pain. Aris fell to the floor laughing while Kai tried not to laugh, Sasuke facepalm, and everyone else looked somewhere between surprised, disgusted, and trying not to laugh. Even Gaara made a weird and the Hokage sweatdropped. Naruto had a shit eating grin.
"Hey, who says I ran out of gas." He said making both Aris and Kai howl with laughter. Kiba was still rolling around from agony his nose was in. Naruto smiled and knocked him out, to stop his misery.
"Checkmate." Naruto said walking away.
"Winner is Naruto Uzumaki." The Proctor announced. Aris smiled, Guess there's more to Naruto then meets the eye, but why do I get the feeling he was still holding back? She wondered, still snickering at poor Kiba.
Flashback Over.
Shikamaru won his battle as well. (If your wondering why the hell I'm not going in order is because 1. I don't remember 2. I'm to lazy to care right now, so deal with it!)
Shino won.
Now they were towards the end of Hinata's and Neji's match. Hinata refused to give up then said something that got to Neji. He got angry and went to strike a fatal blow. Aris however got there in time and she wasn't too happy.
"That's enough, Neji. You won, so leave her be." Aris said calmly. Everyone was still a little shocked that she could still move so fast. Neji tried to get out of her grip and go after Hinata, but Aris wouldn't let go.
"Let me go!" Neji yelled. Aris shook her head. He tried to hit her with gentle fist with his free hand but Aris immediately grabbed it before it could reach her. Aris knew the chakra and nerve points by heart, and she didn't even need Bakyugan. She then snapped his wrist making yelp.
"I said enough, Neji. Now go back to your team." Aris said threateningly. Neji back away and then went to his team, while insulting Naruto. Naruto dipped his fingers in Hinata's blood and held out his fist, vowing to win for her. Aris smirked and used her sand to teleport next to Gaara. Next match was...
Kai Uzumaki vs Sairen'u Ichi.
Aris groaned. So Akuma brought his siblings too huh? Great. Aris thought. Kai didn't look upset or scared or anything. She stood there wondering who this girl was. Her and Akuma looked way too familiar, why exactly? Kai looked at Aris who seemed worried. Aris obviously knows them, does she know something about them I don't? Well knowing Aris, she has her reasons. Kai thought as she jumped down. Sairen'u smirked at Kai.
"Akuma may have been a push over, but I'm not. You better withdraw little girl!" Sairen'u said. Kai rolled her eyes.
"Please. Against normal ninja Akuma, by my guess, he wasn't a pushover against the normal ninja he probably faced, and killed. But against someone like Aris, he didn't stand a chance. And neither do you, against me." Kai said coldly. Aris frowned. Kai's not one to mess around. She's a fierce ninja, and as good as me. No one has really beaten her yet. Aris thought.
"Ready? Begin!" The Procter yelled. Neither moved, each waiting for the other to make a move. Sairen'u realized Kai wasn't gonna move so she charged. Big mistake. Aris thought. Before Sairen'u could even hit her, Kai disappeared and reappeared behind her. Before Sairen'u could react to this Kai kicked her with a chakra infused foot, making Sairen'u crashed into the wall, yet again another crater was made. Sairen'u got back up and smirked. So she's that powerful huh? Well then, I don't need to hold back! She thought. All of the sudden Sairen'u screamed a sonic wave at Kai, who immediately covered her ears. Clutching her ears in head in pain, which felt about ready to explode, Kai let down her guard. Her opponent used this to her advantage and went for the kill. Aris clutched the railing to the point of cracking it. Kai moved enough to dodge so the hit wouldn't be fatal, but the hit left a scratch on her side. It hurt but she alive that's what mattered now. Sairen'u looked at Sasuke and seemed to be planning something. Kai immediately knew what she was planning and grew angry.
"Oh don't you dare even think about it!" Kai shouted. She rushed forward and so did Sairen'u. But then, Sairen'u screamed loudly, directing the attack at Kai. Kai immediately fell to her knees. It felt like her head was gonna explode, by the intensity of the sonic scream. Even through not directed at them, everyone seemed to be a little affected by it, holding their heads like they gave headaches. The only one who didn't was Aris, who had faced this attack before, so even if she was faced against Sairen'u now, this attack would have no effect. Sairen'u stopped and smirked then she charged with the intent to kill. Kai was helpless. Aris cracked the railing in her fists. Kai get up, you can fight against her. Your stronger! Use the mark! Let Okami and the twins help you! Aris yelled desperately to Kai telepathically. Kai opened her eyes and nodded. Yes, she was strong! Stronger then this banshee! Kai sent chakra to her ears so the attack would no longer effect her. Kai stood up from her kneeling position and smirked. Sairen'u growled.
"Don't be so cocky! I'll wipe that stupid grin of your face!" She shouted. Kai didn't move, just stood smirking. The her Bless Mark began to glow. Just as the siren was about to hit Kai, all of the sudden, Sairen'u was blasted back by some invisible force. Everyone but Aris looked confused. Kai's eyes were hidden beneath her hair, but then she looked up. Her Hitomi was activated, she then smirked. Kai's Hitomi went to her second stage, the Hitomi Sharingon, then to her third stage, Mangekyou Hitomi. Kai grined as everyone gasped.
"I recently awakened my last stage, I've been meaning to try it out." Kai said. She closed her eyes, then opened them again slowly. And there it was, those life giving, brightest, truest blue eyes with a white crescent moon: the Fourth Stage of Hitomi. Everyone gawked at her. Kai smirked then did a hand sign with her left, then thrusted her right palm towards Sairen'u. Vines then shot out of the ground beneath her and wrapped themselves around her arms legs and waist, trapping her. Kai smirked, she was finished yet. Sasuke felt his Curse Mark act up. What?! I just got this thing sealed! What's it doing now?! He thought frantically. Sasuke looked at it, but it was glowing white not the normal burning red. He looked back at Kai who's appearance started changing. Out of Kai's back, sprouted wings of the purest white, covered in sky blue markings that traveled all over her body, a white streak appeared in her hair: the second stage of the Bless Mark. Aris noticed what was happening to Sasuke's Curse Mark too. Hm, so the legend is true. There's no seperating them now. Aris reliazed.
"So, Kai has activated her Heaven Bless Mark. Now comes the real fun." Aris said aloud. Aris activated her mind justu so her friends and her brother could hear her when she spoke. The Sand Siblings looked at her.
"Heaven Bless Mark? What's that?" Temari asked. Everyone looked at Aris.
"Opposite of the Curse Mark, which is given by a certain someone. The Heaven Bless Mark is the balance of the two marks. Where's, the Curse Mark is powerful but has dark energy, that can drain you into nothing. But the Heaven Bless Mark was created for good. It's the Mark that is powerful, with light energy. With the Bless Mark, it can be activated for as long as you like with no risk of losing your former self like the Curse Mark. The Curse Mark draws it's energy on the shadows, but the Bless Mark is powered by your inner fire and on the light of the sun, moon and stars. Ultimately more powerful. I only know of two people in the Shinobi world who bare the Bless Mark, frankly because only the most strong, kind hearted, and protective Shinobi can bare such a mark." Aris explained. Everyone nodded thoughtfully. Kakashi wondered who. And Gaara spoke his question.
"Who?" Gaara asked. Aris looked at him, an unknown emotion in her eyes.
"Me and Kai. I hold the Spirit Bless Mark, while holds the Heaven Bless Mark." Aris said, making all who could hear her snap their heads in her direction. Aris could hear all of their thoughts.
Sis? She's one of two strongest ninja? Hehe, I knew it, that's my sister! Naruto thought proudly. Aris smiled at him.
So it's true? Hm, then they both are above jounin level. Kakashi thought.
I always knew Aris was strong! She will be a great opponent! Lee thought. Aris sighed at this, so did everyone else.
No wonder it seemed as if her chakra was limitless. This is one of the reasons. Neji thought.
Man am I glad she's on our side! I'd hate to be her enemy. Kiba thought. Aris chuckled and shook her head.
So that means she's stronger then me. Not that I care, all I care about is Kai. Sasuke though. Aris's eyes widened for a second before she gave him an approving smile.
I'm a little scared now. Kankuro thought. Aris smirked.
"You should be, Kankuro." Aris said teasingly. Kankuro backed away slowly. Gaara chuckled.
Even the strongest have their weaknesses. No matter what, I protect her. I promised her. Gaara thought. Aris smiled and held his hand. Aris the glanced at Orochimaru who was hidden behind another face, he was watching Kai's fight with the eyes of a proud Father. Aris thought of the legend of The Marks, and she pitched him only so he could hear her, she wanted him to hear. Aris needn't bother pitching in Kai, with her highten senses, she could hear everything Aris was saying.
"But, there's actually a myth about the Marks." Aris said. Everyone looked back at Aris, even Orochimaru glanced at her curiously why she'd let him hear this. As Aris said this, the vines began to slowly crush Sairen'u, then stopped.
"What myth?" Sasuke asked aloud. The Sand Siblings looked at Aris expectantly.
"It's said that there would come a time, when two people who bare both sides of the Mark would appear. Like say, the Heaven Bless Mark and the Heaven Curse Mark." Aris paused. Sasuke's eyes widened and Kai, still holding Sairen'u, whipped her head towards Aris in shock. Orochimaru was even shocked.
"Two sides of the same mark, they are given two paths to follow. The first path: The Path of Violence. If they chose this path, then they will follow the nature of their Mark. Fighting each other till the day one of them ends the other. Enemies for all eternity. But the Second Path: The Path of Love. On this path, the two become lovers. They will stay by each other's side, no matter the danger. Either way, they are bonded for all eternity." Aris said. They heads of Team Seven turned to Sasuke, who was blushing furiously, even Kai looked a bit flustered. Naruto furrowed his brow sensing that there was more to this legend. Orochimaru was dumbfounded. Aris then frowned.
"But?" Naruto said.
"But, there's a catch. As it can go either way, but there are risks to both paths." Aris said sadly. Kai looked at her for second.
"Risks?" Temari asked. Aris nodded, her frown deepening.
"Yes, if they take the path of Violence, then there is no end to the fighting. No matter what they'd fight, and that can lead to others getting hurt. Alot of times to prevent this, the one who holds the Bless Mark will separate themselves from others, or at least keep there distance from the one who bares the Curse. But the Paths of Love is just as dangerous, if not more. As lovers, they'd protect each other no matter. One would always know if the other was hurt or in danger. They'd remain forever by each other's side, no matter what. But if one should die, then technically so does the other, spiritually. The one remaining would practically have nothing to live for, so they'd do what is natural to them: follow the nature of their Mark. For the Curse Mark, they'd follow the darkness with no light to guide them. For the Bless Mark, they'd follow the purpose to protect. Both sides would be almost emotionless, a hole in their heart were their other half was. They'd continue on this natural path, waiting for death to claim them." Aris explained. Sasuke was pained, he couldn't even think about that happening to Kai. Kai was looking at the ground not showing her face. Naruto looked at Sasuke, an unknown emotion on his face. Aris glanced at Orochimaru, who was distraught, and disconnected him from the Quiet Mind Link.
"You hear that Sasuke?" Naruto said gaining everyone's attention. Sasuke looked at Naruto questionly.
"Don't do anything stupid, or I'll beat you to a bloody pulp." Naruto growled looking at Sasuke out of the corner of his eye. Sasuke normally would snap back but he knew very well Naruto was serious, he really didn't want to risk pissing the blonde off, especially when he doesn't know exactly what Naruto is capable of. So instead he just nodded. Aris sighed yet again. But Gaara was troubled.
"Do you have another half?" He asked, not really wanting to know. Aris shook her head.
"The Spirit Bless Mark, was never meant to have another half. Honestly, my mark is more neutral then anything, it goes either way. The Spirit Bless Mark, is the main balance between the Curse and Bless Mark's. That's what I was told. Those that gave me and Kai these marks. They told me, I was meant for something big and because if this mark, I know exactly what." Aris looked into Gaara's eyes. Gaara saw complete honesty in her eyes.
"What would that be?" Kankuro asked. Aris smiled softly at Gaara.
"That is mine and Gaara's business, as well as every jinchuriki that exists." Aris said no more then that. Shukaku, Sheika, Kurama, even Okami and the twins began chuckling suggestively, making Aris and Gaara blush. Aris turned back to the fight.
"You know what to do Kai! You know what your fighting for!" Aris shouted. Kai looked at her and then at Sasuke. A look if determination spread in Kai's face. She looked back at Aris, then nodded, and Aris returned that nod. Kai turned back to Sairen'u.
"Time to end this! I've had enough of you and your damn siblings! For too damn long you've hunted us jinchuriki for no reason but because we exist! Well no more!" Kai yelled. Kai held out her hand, then same way Gaara and Aris do for Sand Coffin, then she closed her hand, making the vines crush Sairen'u's arms and legs. Sairen'u screamed, but Kai wasn't finished.
"You'll heal. But it'll be a few weeks. But I'm not finished with you, yet. You and your siblings are unworthy of your powers! Unworthy to be Shinobi!" Kai yelled. The vines wrapped around her head, not crushing it. The vines began to glow and white flowers bloomed on them. Aris blinked, So she's gonna use that justu. Good. Aris thought. Kai made a hand sign.
"Secret Justu! Nature Art: Power Seal!" Kai held her wrist as a bright ball light formed in her right palm. It was like chidori, but it wasn't lighting, it was pure light. The air in room began to spin, making Kai's black hair whip around her.
"Your finished!" Kai said. Then she ran towards Sairen'u, ready to strike. Sairen'u struggled, but couldn't get free. Kai hit Sairen'u right in the chest, then a bright flashed blinding everyone for a second. When the light disappeared, everyone saw Kai, panting heavily as she stared at her opponent, who laid on the ground beaten. Sairen'u tried to get up and perform a justu, but she fell right back down again.
"Ah! Wh-what did you do to me?!" Sairen'u screamed. Kai sighed.
"I took away your Kekki Genki, and your ability to perform Justus. So unless you completely devote your time to Taijustu, which I know you won't, your days as a ninja...Are over. You'll never hurt anyone ever again." Kai said. Aris smiled. Everyone else was dumbfounded. Sairen'u screamed in rage, but she couldn't use the Sonic Wall, as Kai said. Kai deactivated her Hitomi and Bless Mark. Now back to normal, she walked away.
"The winner is Kai Uzumaki!" Ser Coughs Alot said. Everyone cheered for Kai as she walked up to Team Seven. Aris grined happily at Kai. Kai gave Naruto a fist bump, Kakashi a high five and Sakura a nod and smile. She looked at Sasuke who smiled at her. Kai immediately hugged him and hugged her back. This of course gained looks of jealously from Ino and Sakura. Sasuke pushed back Kai then pulled her back into a kiss. Kai's eyes widened before she melted into the kiss, wrapping her arms his neck. Kakashi laughed, Naruto grined, Ino and Sakura fainted in shock, and everyone else, but the Sand Siblings and Aris, jawdropped. Aris grined and shook her head.
"Well it's about bloody time!" Aris yelled. This made Kai and Sasuke separate and look at each other, only to start laughing. Kai buried her face into Sasuke's shoulder. Aris just chuckled and shook her head, while the Sand Siblings, Temari and Kankuro wiggling their eyebrows suggestively, and Gaara's just stared lifting a non-existent eyebrow. Aris looked at Orochimaru and he had a sad expression on his face. Aris looked back at Team Seven and smiled.
So, they took the second path. I'm not really surprised. I do know one thing, that together they are the most powerful. Hopefully their future is a happy one. Aris thought, smiling at a lot of possibilities.
