After a couple days back in Kanto I had already embarked on my next journey. Now my mind was set on the tropical islands of Alola. I heard it has new kind of challenges and new Pokémon all around. I can't wait!

And before I knew it I had arrived in front of the academy I would be staying at for three weeks to learn the ways of Alola and it's Pokémon.

"Wow! This place is so much bigger in person!" I say, astonished how much nicer the school seemed compared to the few pictures I saw online. I proceeded to walk into the building, Pikachu atop my shoulder, to see three hallways and a staircase.

Oh, now I remember why I thought I forgot something this morning. I didn't print out a map! Fantastic, what a great start to my first day at school.

I shake it off and scan the area for anyone who could help me. After a few moments I spot a blonde wearing all white and a large hat that actually looked pretty cute.

"Excuse me miss." I say as I walk next to her, grabbing her attention as she passes her glance up to me.

"Yes? You wouldn't happen to be lost would you?" She asks softly, practically reading my mind.

"Err, I actually am. Is it that obvious?" I ask surprised at her ability to read me without the slightest of knowledge of who I am.

"Not really, at least to most. I've always been good at understanding people's emotions through facial expressions." She says which causes me to stare at her intriguingly.

"Did I say something?" She asks.

"No I was just surprised how smart you are." I compliment truthfully. This gains a small flush of crimson to line her cheeks.

"Th-Thanks. Oh how rude of me, I haven't even introduced myself." She realizes. "My names Lillie, Nice to meet you."

"I'm Ash, and this is my buddy Pikachu!" I happily exclaim as Pikachu gives a happy squeak. This causes her to flinch and go pale, which confuses me at first but I decide to let it go.

"S-So you need to get to class right?" She says changing the subject. "It's down this hall to the right. I go here to so I'll come with you." She offers kindly.

"Sounds great, Thanks Lil!" I say happily, mentally noting that I gave someone I hardly know a nickname. Well, I guess we'll be friends eventually right. What's the rush?

This is going to be fun!
