33. Kasamatsu Yukio
            ~Musical Surprise~

"Alright! I will be pairing you up for this next project so, listen up.."

The teacher announced the pairs one by one loudly. Everyone heard her, all except you. Why? Well, it's probably because you had your earphones in your ears and you were busy trying to memorize the lyrics of the new song you just recently downloaded. Music has always been your thing and it was your way of escaping the boring life you had and just have fun in your own world, even if only for a few minutes.

"(Lastname)-chan and Kasamatsu-kun.." the teacher announced. She was still unable to draw your attention to her. "(Lastname).."

You didn't hear her. You were still in your own world, tapping your finger on your desk to the rhythm of the song. It was really catchy. Plus, it's would be nice to dance to it sometimes. You can't wait to go home!

"(Lastname), are you listening?" the teacher's anger was rising and all you did was stare at her blankly. You only saw her mouth moving but, nope! You heard nothing. That only added more to her fuming anger.

"(Lastname).." A voice. You could finally hear the sounds around you. The earphone on your left ear was pulled out. You looked to your left and saw a black haird student, blushing but had a serious look on his face. You took your earphone from his hand, your hands slightly brushing against each other. He flinched and quickly look away, making you raise an eyebrow at him.

'Geez, what's his problem..' you thought.

"(Lastname), you're paired with Kasamatsu! Did you hear me?" the teacher said while putting her hands on her hips.

"Hmm~ Well, I hear you now.." you said in a lazy tone. The rest of the students sweat drop. They all knew that you were listening to music all this time. It was hard for teachers to actually catch you using your earphones during class because your hair always cover your ears. In addition to that, you've been like that for years so, you knew how to hide them well.

After class was dismissed, you took your time putting your things in your bag. You didn't want to be caught in all the rush as the other students were all going out of the classroom as well. As always, you were listening to music.

"(Lastname).." It's the guy again. He took out your earphone again.

"Hmm, what is it, Kasamatsu-kun?" you asked. You were talking to him but, you focus was on the song you were listening to.

"Where should we discuss the project?" he asked almost hesitantly.

"Well, my house would be fine if that's okay with you.." you said spontaneously. The truth is, you're not comfortable with visiting other people's houses or anywhere else for that matter. You like your home the best.

You took your earphone from him again and put it back in your ear.

"I'll come over this Saturday then," Kasamatsu said.

"Okay. Bye.." With that, you turned and waved at him. He wasn't really a stranger to you. You were in the same class since second year. It's just that you never really talk to him.

You were on your laptop to check out if there are any new songs. You liked a bunch of genres as long as it catches your ears. The playlists you have are endless. There are K-Pop, J-Pop, Anime songs, country, R&B, and the list goes on.
