I thought it was you,
But it wasn't,
We haven't seen each other in 10 weeks,
I thought it was you,
But it wasn't,
At the time,
We couldn't communicate properly,
I thought it was you,
But it wasn't,
I was too demanding,
I craved too much attention,
You put in your effort,
I see that now,
And when I try and get you back you're gone,
But It was me,
Perhaps I'm just not capable of being connected with someone,
Perhaps I will forever be alone,
Exiled in my misery,
For I take too much for granted.
