I walked the halls with Mia for a bit before I went to lunch, all she really talked about was the history of the building, making me bored the fuck outta my mind.
I walked into the lunch room and inhaled the smell of food (and a little BO) which made me shiver, I couldn't believe that it has only been school for half a day and I already want to go home.
I had my packed lunch in hand and I looked around for a table but not seeing one open, I went to sit in the corner like at my old school.
A boy then walked up to me and sat next to me, he looked about 14 with messy brown hair with blue eyes making him look grown up.
"Hey there you must be a 7th grader Aye? " The boy asked as I nodded to the question, making hin laugh.
"Well, I am Cody and you must be...? " He asked as his blue eyes stared into mine. I quickly answered with "My name is Niko and I'm the new girl..." I said as he laughed once more.
"God why do we get all the hot new girls... " He stared at me then said, "I mean why are all the hot ones 7th graders... " He facepalmed himself.
"Goddammit I'm a nerd lol" He said, making me laugh.
