"why don't you want me at your parties?" I asked, trying to hide the hurt behind my voice.

"because it isn't you. you aren't like them. and why should you try to be something you're not?" she stated, as if  it were the most obvious thing ever.

"I just want to be the type of person you fall in love with. and I want to be someone that fits in with you," I said quietly, hoping it didn't sound pathetic.

"don't change yourself for me. you're too precious to lose your innocence," she spoke not even realizing how much of my 'innocence' she's already taken.
