Emily's (POV)
My name is Emily. Emily Katherine fields. I am 18 years old I am gay and I am a senior in high school. Today  is the first day of my senior year at a new school. I used to live in Texas with my mom and dad. Until my dad decided to quit the military. Now I am here in Rosewood. "Emmy honey time to get up and get ready for school." Says my mom "okay mom I'll be down in a bit." Ugh I'm not ready for this long day.

Alison (POV)
I'm Alison. Alison Lauren Dilaurentis. I am 17 years old. I am a senior at Rosewood high. The only important things you must know about me is I'm the Queen bee. I get what I want when I want everyone knows me and everyone is scared of me that's just how it is every since 1st grade. "Alison wake up" Jessica (Alison mom's) says. " shut your trap I'll be down in a sec"

AT SCHOOL
Emily's (POV)
I just arrived at school and I already am hating it I see a group of boys probably delinquents smoking what smells like pot in the corner of the school my thoughts get interrupted when I hear some guys talking about "the queen bee" I wonder to myself who that might be I'm looking around at all the girls here and they all look normal nothing special my thoughts get interrupted again by someone bumping into me I turn around to see everyone clearing the way I try to look around and my eyes catch a beautiful girl I'm guessing that's the "queen bee" speaking that everyone cleared the hall for her " take a picture it will last longer" she says I immediately snap out my gaze and say "oh umm s-sorry" she gives me this devilish smirk

Alison's (POV)
I'm walking down the hallway and everyone clears the way for me like always of course I turn around and my eyes catch a gorgeous tan girl I never seen here before I catch my self staring and immediately put up a wall and say "take a picture it will last longer" she replies with "oh um s-sorry" she kinda blushes and I must admit it was cute so I gave her a small smile It was time for class so I head over to my 1st period which is English taught by mr.Fitz as I'm sitting down I can't help but notice the tan girl I saw earlier is in here she keeps staring at me I think it's adorable so I flash a smile at her and return my eyes to mr.Fitz "okay class we will be working on a project I want you guys to write an essay on The Great Expectations you guys should all be familiar with the book, except for you ms.Fields you are new to our class so I'm going to put you with a partner before I  do that would you like to share a little bit about yourself to the class." Mr.Fitz says to the girl "uh yea sure ig" she says with a really pretty smile I must admit.

Emily's (POV)
" uh hi I'm Emily Emily Fields I'm 18 years old and I love to swim and well  I'm um gay " I say nervously remembering flashbacks from when I first came out "oh great okay is that all" mr.Fitz my new English teacher says. "Yup that's about it" I say back "alright you may take your seat, would anyone like to volunteer to be Emily's partner for the project" mr.Fitz says no hands go up which makes me kind of nervous then out of nowhere the "queen bee's" hand shoots up me still not knowing her name " alright Alison you and Emily are partners" she gives me the same devilish smile from earlier "with pleasure" she says making me a little nervous.

AFTER CLASS
Authors (POV)
Emily was heading to her car but right before she can get in she was stopped by Alison "uh hey" Emily says "not to be rude but why are you in front of my car" Alison gives her an evil glare but loosens up when Emily starts fidgeting "your my partner silly remember " Alison says very friendly "oh yea yea I almost forgot so do you want to like come to my house" Emily says sounding doubtful "is it like a date" Alison says jokily "oh no no just for the um-" Alison cuts her off " it's a joke silly" Emily let's out a chuckle she starts to stare at Alison's glistening blue eyes until Alison snaps her out of her thoughts " so am I going to your house or are we just gonna stand here looking at each other" Alison says Emily laughs feeling more comfortable " how about we keep looking at each other " she says while she winks " huh what" Alison spits out "hah got you " Alison playfully punches Emily and gets into her car "let's go em" Alison say " em huh I like it imma call you ali" Emily smiles "Ali huh I like it" mocking Emily. Emily just laughs and starts to drive
