A/N If it doesn't say who's POV it is, it'll be Juniper's POV

*Present time*

Years have passed and I just basically lost all connection with Tony. Since that day, I never called, texted, skyped, or even visited when he came back to see his mother. Turns out he decided to move in with his band. That bastard never even told me the name of it. I am now currently living in a rather spacious and moderm townhouse not too far away from my parents. Perhaps a five minute drive. My father developed some heart condition that was genetic in our family so I had to visit often to help out. It was almost 11 AM, which meant I had to go to my job, which was helping out customers at a music store. I got dresssed, applied very minimal makeup, slung my bag around my shoulder and got into my blue Toyota Matrix. As I arrived to the music shop, I noticed the door was locked. Thank god my boss gave me a set of spare keys, I was his most trusted employee. There was a note on the counter when I walked in. "I havesome family business so I wont be back until 2:00. From, Neil"  I flipped the sign from 'closed' to 'open' and I sat down playing my favourite piano in  the store, then switching to an electric guitar, picking at some song Tony taught me years ago, whcih I somehow still remember. I probably got too carried away because I didn't even notice a tall figure tower above me. I put down my guitar and apologized. "Sorry, about that, got carried away, haha. What can I help you with today?" I nervously laughed. "That's okay. I'm not really looking for an instrument right now, but I have a band and the guitar tech dropped out at the last second so we need one. So I was wondering if you have ayone good with them to join us on tour." That voive sounded so vaguely familiar. Oh god. Its Tony. I have changed a lot appearance-wise since I last saw him. My long, wavy light brown hair has darkened and somehow turned straight. I cut it down to my shoulders as well. I also got glasses and some piercings. I hope he doesn't recognize me. "Umm.. There's not really anyone at the store right now... Maybe you can come back some other time..." I tried to reply nonchalantly, but it ended up sounding rushed and nervous. His smile dropped. "Oh. You sounded pretty good with the guitar when I walked in though." he responded. Nononononono... "Um, I'm not really a guitar person." "Well, uh, when you want to, or you find someone, can you give me a call?" He shyly grinned, slipping a piece of paper with his number into my hands. Tony proceeded to walk out but he turned around and said "By the way, Juniper, it's pretty cool how you still remember our song. I'll see you again sometime, yeah?" he winked and left. I have no idea whther I should be happy, or mad, or upset, or all of the above. And how did he know I worked here? Or was it purely coincedental? My guess is the second one. I am still rather mad at him but a part of me wants to rekindle the friendship that disappeared years ago. i called Neil. Yeah, my boss is basically like my closest friend I have right now.  He picked up after two rings. "Hello"

"Hi Neil... I need your help..."

"Go on..."

"Well, when I was a kid, I used to be really close to this guy and then one day, he leaves our friendship behind to go tour with his band. We lost all connection and I'm still kinda mad at him but a part of me wants to rekindle our friendship. He just walked in a few minutes ago and asked me to go on tour with his band to be a guitar tech... "

"Take his offer! You're amazing at handling guitars!"

"But what about my job? What if things will be awkward? What if-" I was cut off by Neil

"Its okay, you can still keep your job when you come back. And I promis you, things won't be awkward once you two talk about it. Now go! Go chase your man!" he chuckled.

'He's not my man! Bye Neil!' and I hung up.

I'm gonna call him. Oh god, this has got to be the most nerve-wracking things I have ever done in my life... I phoned Tony and he answered rather quickly. "Hi Tony... Um, you probably still think I hate you, but uh, y'know how you said you needed a guitar tech... Well-" I was interrupted by his laughter. "Yeah, you can come." I could tell that he was smiling on the other end of the line. Just the cheerful tone in his voice was a dead giveaway. "I know we ended on bad terms, but want to talk it out over dinner tonight?" he asked. "Um... s-sure." I stuttered. "Where should I pick you up?" "At my parents' house?" "Sure thing, I'll be there at 6:30." "Okay. Bye Turtle, see you in a bit." i said and ended the call. I hope this goes well...
