Chapter 4

Y/N POV

I was happy about the fact I ran away from class, I liked to have fun, performing on stage with my band, road trips and meeting cute girls were probably my favorite things to do and obviously Lauren fitted perfectly in the third thing, she was genuine  even if she was lying when she first started to tell me about her life she was doing it for a reason and the truth came out incredibly fast, I liked Lauren, I don't know if it is friendly or romantic attraction yet, I only knew that I wanted to spend more time with her and that was what we were doing

We had left the coffee shop after the fan came up to Lauren because apparently if the girl told someone else that she was there it would turn into pure chaos

 Lauren was telling me about how she and the girls in the group were finishing recording their new album which was top secret and suppose to go out to the public on summer

For real? I could produce an album faster, I know that the melodies and the harmonies of four people need to be in peak condition for the reputation of the group but still, it was a lot of time 

"Who produces your music?" I asked Lauren as she walked at my side, we were both in a park near the coffee shop watching how people walked their dogs and simply were hanging out around New York, it was mostly locals of the city

"Calm down musical nerd" Lauren giggled at me and I must admit I was indeed a musical nerd, I loved to think about how every note of a song had a lot of backgrounds and work into it, that was something a lot of people ignored but I didn't 

"His name is Zach, he is producing with his team, he's a middle-aged man, I think he spends too much time with us because he started to use the word 'lit' on every sentence" The green eyes girl continued talking as she was looking at the flowers of the park as we passed by 

I laughed at the image of a middle-aged man talking like that but the smirk off my face died incredibly quick as I glance something I clearly didn't want to see today, Demon wings. 

Demon wings were a local band from New York as well as my band Blue Paradise but they were mean, more than mean being honest, they were demons 

I clearly didn't want to see me or Lauen to wit a quick move I moved both of us behind a tree that was nearby

"The fuck?" Lauren asked confused 

"Sorry for that, Can you see that fake red head boy?" I asked Lauren as I described her the lead of the band, Keegan, he was the major fuckboy and asshole you could ever meet, Blue Paradise and them had more than a band rivalry, it was something much deeper, We had another bassist before the one we had now Giselle, we had another bassist named Aaron, the thing was that Aaron was a druggie, he was a really chill and happy person that liked to smoke weed and take pills once in a while, but things got fucked up

Keegan was a dealer, well he stills is and he created this new pill that everybody loved, highly addictive and incredibly dangerous, Aaron loved it, he got addicted fast and we asked Keegan to stop selling it to him but for him it was quick money, he said no and continued to sell the pills to Aaron, We found him unconscious a few morning laters, he didn't die, but he wasn't the same, his family ended up sending back to our hometown and forbid him to talk to us, that was the slight problem we had with Demon Wings especially with their lead singer Keegan 

"The one that is wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day?" Lauren asked as she was still confused about the whole situation 

"Yes, him, we need to get out of here, If he sees us I'm fucked up," I said as I turned away to see him, I didn't even know if he was alone but if he was with his band, it would be way worse
