美しさ

I have forgotten the role

That beauty plays

In a simple world

Like ours

Power may control

But beauty beckons so sweetly

An irresistible call to the weak

And none can ignore it

Though some chose to pretend

To never hear

More welcome it

It is a spear

A cruel gift

For it can turn your insides rotten

But do not believe being hideous

Is at all better

There is no kindness dealt

In a simple world

Like ours
