Daisy(Skye) and Steve; Legends

Chapter 1 (Steve)

Steve stared in disbelief at the walls around him. It had been shocking enough that S.H.I.E.L.D was still up and running, but he was walking next to a dead man. Phill Coulson, who, frankly, still seemed insanely giddy when around him.

"S.H.I.E.L.D isn't what it was before, it's changed."
"I can see that." He chuckled
"Want the Grand Tour?"
Why not? He thought, not much could surprise him at this point.
Or so he thought.

The base was surprisingly bustling, considering that no one knew of their existence for quite some time.
"It's not the greatest of times." Coulson admitted "Our most recent mission proved disastrous, we were stopping Hydra from getting their hands on an alien weapon, but we lost an agent in the process, and we have another in quarantine. The mission was a success, but we're wounded."
Steve nodded in understanding, they are helping. He thought. He followed Coulson down the hallway until they made it down the lab. He heard a squeal of shock and delight.
Coulson smiled,
"Sir, is that?"
"Captain America? Yeah, Steve, met Agent Jemma Simmons, she's one of our smartest agents in the lab division. Graduated top of her class at the academy."
"It's a pleasure." Simmons said kindly.
"Oh and uh sir,"
"Skye?"
"She's.. Shaken up, but I'm going to run samples of her current blood, and compare them with old samples, just to be sure."
"Do whatever needs to be done."
"Why would they be different?" Steve asked, not catching on.
Simmons glanced at Coulson, who nodded.
"There was a temple.." Simmons began, explaining the story of the mission underground, ending with how Raina, the girl that was down there with Skye, had changed significantly.
"Covered in thorns?"
Simmons nodded.
He paused for a moment.
"This might not be the best-" Simmons caught Coulson's eye, "Right this way"
