Evan's POV
Jon walked inside and I followed after. "Damn! Your house is huge!" I said. "Hehe... Thanks, man." Jon replied. "So, uh, let me show you to the guest room." "Alright." I followed him to a room in the back of a long ass hallway. "Your room is right across from mine." he said. "Cool, cool." I walked in and placed my bag on the bed. It had black sheets and a green comforter. The walls were a creme color. "This room is nice." "Yeah, it's the best guest room I had. Only the best for my best friend!" he commented walking over to me and hugging me from behind. Naturally, I blushed at this.
"Well, I'll let you get settled in, okay?" "That's cool." "I'll call you when I'm done makin' some dinner. It'll take awhile, I'm makin' somethin' special," he added and walked away, smiling. I started unpacking my clothes and putting them in the empty drawers. I don't exactly know how long I'll be staying but I brought a fuck ton of clothes. The bedroom had a bathroom attached to it, so I went in and put my toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, and other bathroom necessities in it. I decided to take a shower since he said dinner was gonna take awhile. I started the water up and grabbed some clothes and a towel.
I let the warm water consume me as I got in. It felt so nice just to relax. "Evan!" Jon called, "Dinner's ready!" "I'll be there in a second!" I called back. I turned the shower off and threw on the clean clothes I brought and walked back down the hallway.
I walked into the kitchen and saw some roasted chicken, peas, and mashed potatoes set out all fancy-like. "Jon, what's all this?" "Well, I thought maybe I could make a good dinner to make up for all the pain I've caused. I've also invited Luke-" he was cut off when a door swung open and Luke walked in.
"The Toonz has arrived!" Luke exclaimed. "Do you have to make a grand entrance every time I have someone over, Luke?" I chuckled and Luke and Jon joined in. "Yes I do, as a matter of fact!" this made Jon laugh even harder. "Just sit your ass down and enjoy my cooking!" "Wow," I started "I thought all you could make was ramen noodles." "Pfff nah! I'm a grown man, I know how to fuckin' cook!" We all burst out laughing and dug into the delicious dinner Jon had prepared.
