Sitting there all alone,
she wonders where they all went.
No one to vent to,
except her own mind.
Some live in bigger cities; some just simply disappeared.
They all left her in the same old town;
always waiting for the sun to go down.
As she drives past the high school,
she collects memories by the time she gets to the stop sign.
And then she waits.
She waits for reasons as to why they forgot about her.
She wonders how friends can become strangers.
Is it her own fault?
Or is this just what it feels like to drift apart?
