When you touched me for the 1st time, I went numb. I just wanted to live in this moment forever. You made me feel open, raw, like I was coming back to life. You made me feel things, that aren't humanly possible. You opened my eyes to a whole new world. You showed me, the real me.
James thought this was just another ordinary day. He was just going to play video games, then maybe go for a walk downtown later. He didn't get out much. He wasn't really a people person, unless he had to be. People didn't understand him. He tried to fit in, but he knew it was pointless. He didn't have the best childhood growing up. He didn't get along with his dad, & his mom was always busy. At a young age, he had to learn how to care for his brother. He didn't really have a choice. His dad was always gone, & mom was too wrapped up in herself to care. He knew this wasn't his life. Like he was the main character is someone else's story. But how the hell could he get out of this?
Michael hated mornings. He hit his alarm clock several times, before sending it crashing to the floor. He lied in his bed, replaying last night in his head. He knew he could have brought those guys home. But something told him not to. He hated to admit it, but he wanted more. Michael knew he could have any one he wanted. He was a good looking guy. He had jet black hair, & the most stunning bluey-green eyes. He was tall with a nice build. He was used to getting what he wanted. All throughout school, he won every award. There is nothing he couldn't do. Well, except hold a relationship.
James sat in his room, trying to figure out what to do. He knew school wasn't an option. He couldn't affoird it. He also couldn't stand leaving his brother behind. His job at Starbucks was getting boring. He hated working there. Everyone was so upbeat & happy. He needed a place where he could be himself. He thought about maybe writing stories online. Writing about all the hardships he's gone through. Maybe reach out to others. But then he remembered how much his brother loved when he would act out stories. Bringing life to the characters, making you feel apart of the action.
Michael slowly rolled out of bed. He knew his day was going to be long. He has so much work to do, & very little time to do it. He was under a lot of pressure to try to get his company running. He had a lot of people fighting for his attention. From morning till night, his phone was constantly going off. He never could catch a break. He set his phone on the the bathroom counter, then hopped in the shower. All he could think about was how he wish he had a mate. Someone to vent to. Someone to share ideas with. Someone to support him.
James looked up, & saw him walking to the counter. He was godly, unlike any other human he's ever seen. He had this glow about him. His confidence was sexy. He owned the attention of the room. James knew he had to say something, but what? James woke up on the couch, sending the game controller crashing to the floor. He was up late playing video games, & must have passed out. He felt an odd sence of arousal. He had never been with another man,... He knew his dream had to mean something, but what? James decided not to worry about it. It was just a dream after all. James rushed to grab some clean clothes for work. He had a feeling today was going to be weridly good.
Michael got out of the shower & walked over to his closet. He looked through all of his suits, trying to find the perfect one. He wanted to look his best, to show he means busniess. He finally settled on his pastel blue suit. He always enjoyed standing out from the crowd. The bolder the better, Michael thought to himself. Michael got dressed, then grabbed his keys off his dresser. He wanted to hit Starbucks before heading to the office. There was no way he was going to get through the day without his caramel macchiato.
James jumped out of the shower. He hurriedly got dressed. He didn't want to be late for work. He took one last look in the mirror, and noticed his hair was a mess. He usually would straighten it, but today, he left it curly. He checked himself over one last time. He looked good, which made him feel daring. He checked on his brother, before leavng. His brother was just finishing up his homework, before heading to his friends for the night. He left his house, and started to walk down the street. His work was only a few blocks away. He didn't mind walking, but only if it wasn't cold.
Michael slid into his car. He had so much to do, and so little time. He tried planning the quickest route out in his head. He wanted to be fast, but efficient! He decided he needed coffee before he could figure anything else out. He started his car, and took off down the road. The closest StarBucks was only a few minutes away. Michael always enjoyed the atmosphere of StarBucks. He felt at home everytime he walked through the door. He knew all the baristas by name. He didn't even need to give his order anymore. Michael walk up to the counter. This young attractive male came over to the counter. Hi, I'm James, what can I grab for you today? Michael looked over at the other barista making his drink. He then said one venti caramel macchiato. Are you new here, I don't remember seeing you around? He found out James had only started working there a month ago. Michael realized that he was going to end up being late, but wanted to see James again. Here's my number. Text me, I'd like to see you again,... Michael slid his number over to James, then left.
James found himself thinking about the dream he had during his walk. He had thought about his sexuality a lot lately. James had always been curious about the same sex, but wasn't sure if that's really what he wanted. He had only ever been with women, & that hadn't been working out too well. He guessed if he found the right man, he might consider it. Once James got to Starbucks, he couldn't wait to start his shift. From the moment he left the house, he knew it was going to be an interesting day. The air felt heavier which made him feel alive! Once at work, James put on his apron & headed to the counter. He hated working the till the most, because you always had to interact with people. James was looking for more receipt paper, when he heard the door open. It had been pretty quite all day, so James was caught off guard. James looked up, & saw him walking to the counter. He was godly, unlike any other human he's ever seen. He had this glow about him. His confidence was sexy. He owned the attention of the room. He couldn't believe it. It was the guy from his dream,... Hi I'm James, what can I grab for you today? He looked over at the other barista who was making his order. James then realized he must have been a regular. One venti caramel macchiato please. James rang in his order, then noticed the man reaching for something in his pocket. He slid his card towards him. He told James he'd like to see him again, then left. James was stunned,... Was this really happening?!
