Naruto smacked Sasuke as soon as he walked into the Kitsune's home.
Honestly, it took a lot of self restraint not to hit him back, but from the facial expression on the blonde's face, he assumed something was wrong.
"Naruto? What is it?"
"It was just Valentine's Day!"
"And???"
"AND?!?! You didn't get me anything!"
Sasuke didn't even remember.
"Oops?"
Naruto's eyes began to water and tears streamed down his face.
"SASUKE! I HATE YOU!"
Sasuke, not used to dealing with emotions healthily, said the only "logical" thing.
"You're overreacting."
Tears stopped and the boy's eyes began to change color to a much darker shade.
"WHAT?!?"
Quickly changing his plan of attack, the Uchiha faltered.
"U-Uuuuuuhhhhh, I meant we should go out right now!"
Naruto's eyes calmed down to their normal sky blue, and he smiled brightly.
"Exactly! Let's go right now, Baka!"
-skrt skrt-
When they arrived at the surprise shop, Sasuke led the blindfolded Naruto indoors.
"Where are we? Smells like your bathroom."
The raven haired boy blushed a deep crimson as shopkeepers around them stifled their laughs.
Quickly undoing Naruto's blindfold, he spread his arms.
"We're getting a cat!"
"BUT SASUKE, I WANT A DOG!"
-17 minutes later -
"FINE NARUTO, FINE, WE'LL GET A DOG!"
-3 minutes later-
"YESSSSSSSS I WANT THIS ONE!"
"Oh my Kami I hate you."
"What?"
"I didn't say anything, babe."
"Hmm. Okay."
-12 minutes later-
After successfully checking out, they bought their new dog. His name is Orange-kun.
