Chapter 2

Narrator's POV

The demonic girl's eyes flittered open in the warm sunshine.

Morning time!

Ravens "worst time of the day"

BANG BANG BANG

Raven sat up in frustration. Who was at her door this early? She sighed. The banging got louder.

BAM BAM BAM BAM

"What is it?" Raven exclaimed a little louder then she wanted to.

A quiet, shrill voice answered. "Breakfast, Rae."

It was Beastboy.

Raven let out her breath to calm down. She didn't want to upset him anymore then he already was about Terra.

"I thought I told you to stop calling me Rae." Raven replied.

"Sorry, Rae. Come eat." The green boy spoke.

Raven gave up trying to tell him to stop. She'd yell at him when he wasn't sad. "I'll be there soon." She answered.

"Azarath, metrion, ZINTHOS!"

Raven's pajamas flew off of her body and her clothes flew on. She walked out of her room, forgetting her cloak.

"Good morning, Friend Raven!" Starfire flew over to her, and squished her in a hug.

"Good morning Starfire." Raven tore herself away from the friendly alien who was making it hard to breathe. "What's for breakfast?" She asked the team, who was spread out across the room.

"Tofu-eggs and bac-y!" Beastboy put on a large smile as he turned around from the kitchen.

A smiling Cyborg was next to him, cooking REAL eggs and bacon.

Beastboy took a good look at her. "Hey Rae, where's your cloak?" He looked down at her hips, with a distant look in his eye.

The demonic girl's cheeks began to turn slightly pink. How could she have forgot her cloak? It's how she his her feelings from the other titans.

"Um.... Raven?" Beastboy looked confused. "Is something wrong?"

"N-nothing!" Her cheeks darkened, and she set off for her room. Raven flung her door open and looked frantically for her blue cloak. Her purple hair swished around as she turned her head back and forth. She looked on her bed where she last left it. It wasn't there!

The smell of bacon and eggs floated throughout her room. It made her feel a bit hungry.

As she was walking out something blue caught her eye. Her cloak! She dashed over to her dresser in the far corner and picked it up and slipped it on. She had wasted enough time in her room.

The cloak wearing girl walked back out into the living room, which was conjoined in the kitchen. The team was settled at the table, digging into their food.

Raven sauntered over to her seat.

"Woah, Rae. Your hips are gone!" Beastboy blurted out.

Raven could feel her face getting hot. Why was Beastboy making her blush? She tried to push the thought away, by looking at her plate. At least her eggs looked good. Then she noticed something.

"Beastboy..." Raven started. "Did you cook my eggs?" She asked.

"You're TOFU eggs?" He smiled.

"Yes!" Ravens face began to get red again. But out of anger this time.

"Oh come on Rae!" Beastboy pouted. "At least try them!"

Raven huffed, and took a bite of her first "egg". Her other one was hiding beneath it. She had to admit it was pretty good.

Raven took her fork and slid the egg off the other one. Her face turned bright red.

Her second egg was in the shape of a heart.
