Narrators's POV

Birds sang. Kids played. Flowers bloomed, and sun shown...right into Raven's window.

"Uhhhhh" Her head shot up. "Why, why did I leave the blinds open?" Raven kicked her legs out of the covers and stood up. She stretched her back and yawned. Another long sigh and her blinds closed back up. "Much better." A faint smile appeared on her face.

The pale girl grabbed her cloak and rubbed her eyes on her way out of her room. 'Perfect timing!' Raven thought.

Cat Beast Boy came running down the hallway. When he came to Raven's legs he started purring and running up against her legs.

She looked down at him hastily. "Uh, Beast Boy?" One eyebrow was raised.

The cat morphed back to a human. "Morning!" He smiled. Beast Boy turned back into a cat and sprinted toward the kitchen.

Unwillingly, Raven and her hungry stomach followed him.

Robin and Starfire were already in the TV room, snuggling and watching the TV.

Raven opened up the fridge and looked around for something. She opened the freezer as well and pulled out a frozen bagel. She also reached into the fridge and grabbed the cream cheese. Closing both doors, Raven walked over to the toaster and popped in her bagel. The light turned on, and it started to tick.
"Hi Raven!" Beast Boy's bright smile lit up the entire room. He rummaged through the fridge while Raven waited for her bagel to cook.

DING! 'Done!' Raven grabbed her plate and took the bagel out of the toaster. She spread cream cheese on each half and smushed them together.

The kettle began to steam and whistle with boiling water soon after Raven sat down at the table. She got up and made her tea while Beast Boy cooked his food. She settled back down in her chair with a warm bagel and hot tea.

Beast Boy sat down next to her and started to each his breakfast too. Raven could only figure out that it was tofu, but not what it was supposed to be.

When all the titans finished eating, they looked at the schedule for missions that day. Cyborg was paired with Starfire, Robin took one by himself, and Raven and Beast Boy were scheduled together. "Go figure." Raven murmured under her breath.

Before she knew it, Raven was headed to an island, with Beast Boy. He was a hawk, flying behind her as she levitated on a black circle of magic. Their directions kept echoing around in Raven's head. Destroy the several dangerous machines, and get the heck out.

"I see the island." Raven stated. It was coming up in the distance, full of trees, birds, and countless flowers and plants.

The two landed and Beast Boy morphed back. "Let's find those machines!" His confidence level was high.

"We have to stick together." Raven looked at him. "Robin said there may or may not be people or things guarding these machines. We can't afford to separate." She started to walk, and Beast Boy followed her.

"Is that... A building?" Beast Boy squinted his eyes, a while later.

"Yes, and ill bet that's where the machines a-" a hand flew over Raven's mouth and she was knocked unconscious. The last thing she heard was Beast Boy screaming after her.

Raven woke up on the cemented surface of a jail cell. Her wrists and legs were tied to the walls with chains, and Beast Boy was next to her. His eyes opened shortly after hers did.

"Where are we?!" The green boy cried out. "These chains are making me lose blood circulation!" He looked at them. The chains on his hands were so tight blood started to drip from them.

Raven easily broke her chains with her powers. There were chain imprints on her body, but she didn't care. She moved on the Beast Boy's chains and snapped them too.

Beast Boy morphed into a bear and bent the bars locking them in. They both jumped out quickly.

And arm flung around Raven and a man with a knife held a knife up to her throat. "Make another move and the girl gets it." The man said.

"Don't!" Anger flowed through Beast Boy's veins. "I'll kill you if you hurt her!" He tried to think of what to do.

The knife got closer and closer to Raven's throat until it touched her. The cold blade started to cut into her skin. The man stopped paying attention to Beast Boy and focused on making Raven's death slow and painful. A green tiger jumped on top of the man and toppled him over.

Raven gasped for air. There was a cut on her throat that started bleeding, but it was nothing major. She turned to watch Beast Boy leave the man bruised and unconscious. They moved on through out the large building, silently.

A glimmer showed through a door, and Beast Boy walked into it. Raven reluctantly followed him, and the door slammed shut behind them. "Crap!" They both yelled.
