I walk into the diner and sit down at my mom's table, she arrived before me.
"Hi! Long time no see." I joke.
She smiles. "I know right!"
"Can you believe it?" I ask.
She gives me a questioning look.
"We just met Immortalkyodai..." I squeal.
She sighs. "21 and still a fangirl."
"Yeah..." I laugh.
I added Cierra to my contacts and looked back up. "Are you ready to order?"
"Yes. One turkey club and a coke. My mom said.
"Pepsi okay, ma'm?" Our waiter asked.
"Yes." She replied, smiling.
"I'll have an autumn salad with a Mountain Dew, please." I said.
"I'll get that for you right away." He said smiling at my mom then winking at me.
After he walked away, we both turned and looked at each other. We both burst out laughing, trying to be quiet.
"Oh....Oh my gosh...." My mom sighed, calming down.
I sigh, smiling. Oh, that was hilarious. The waiter walks up, carrying our food. I hope he didn't hear us.
"Here you are, ladies." He says handing us our plates.
"Thanks, Mister..." I pause, looking at his nametag. "Ryan. Call me Ryan." He says, smiling.
"Ryan..." I say smiling up at him. He blushes a light pink. My mom is trying to contain her laughter. "Well, I-I'm going to go check on the other tables..." He says nervously. "Okay. Thanks, Ryan." I reply. He blushes deeper and rushes away. My mom starts laughing hysterically. Oh how I missed my mom!
We finish our food a short time later. Ryan gives me our check, I told mom I'd pay. On the check was a note that said;
Call me sometime; (Insert a random phone number here.) ~Ryan
"Hey mom. Look." I say handing her the check. She smiles and hands it back. I add his phone number to my phone and sign the check. I reply back on the merchants copy;
Sure! Talk to ya soon. ~Sophia
