"I love you," I faced her.

She seem puzzled by what I said. She looked straight to my eyes and made a smiled. "I'm sorry but I'm dating someone."

I'm stupid! Of course she's dating someone after all she's the most popular girl on campus. A boy comes in the classroom interrupting us.

"Mina I found your backpack," he gave her a smiled and glared at me.

"Thank you Mark," she runs up to him and linked arms with him. He kissed her cheek while looking at me.

"Byee Jimin," Mina wave goodbye to me and left with him.

It's Sunday noon, I go to the convenience store near my house and buy two grand yogurt, one petitzel's creme chocolate sweet roll, and one cup of giant tteokbokki.

"Where should I go now?" I rub my hand on my neck. I hold on my plastic bag and head to the park a few blocks away from the store.

I sat on the bench and looked at the last beautiful ray of sunlight going down. I held out my hand, "beautiful like her."

I placed my black plastic bag on the bench and grab the grand yogurt. I was about to open it but someone took it away from me.

"Can I have it?" She smiled beautifully.

"Sorry but it's mine," I quickly got it back. I'm still pissed because she's dating Mark.

"You're so cold-hearted," she sat beside me and lean her head on my shoulder. I froze. My heart is beating like crazy! I wonder if she can hear how crazy my heart is beating.

"Mina?" I finally said.

"Let's just stay like this for awhile..." she begin to tremble, I heard a teardrop splashing on the bench. I quickly embrace her to my arms.

I didn't know what to say.

"I'm stupid! I'm soo stupid to believe his lies," she bury her face against my shirt. "Why am I surprise? After all I saw it coming."

I stroke her hair.

"I can't believe he cheated on me with my best friend. Am I not good enough for him?"

Is she really asking me that? What kind of question is that?! "Mina! Never say anything like that!" I broke the hug. "Believe me when I say you're too good enough for him! Infinity and beyond," I shouted.

She begin to tear up even more and pull me toward her. She was hugging me tight like her life was depending on it. She tried to speak but the words couldn't come back. It took awhile for her to clam down.

"Don't-don't pity me," her eyes were swollen from crying. She took a deep breath and smiled widely showing her teeth.

"I think I had a mini heart attack by your smile," shit. I said it out loud.

She begin to laugh, she took my yogurt away from me again. "Jimin did you really meant it when you said you love me?" She faced me with her gorgeous dark brown eyes.

"Of course I did."

She got up and grab my hand, "promise me you will always protect me."

I nodded.
