For you are the only one
Who kept me from going astray
When I felt the need to run
Run from this never ending cycle of pain
I'm here in a cold place
Why can't you remain
All I need is your embrace
You are the only one who sees the truth in my eyes
What lies behind these unspoken words
When I started to cry
The beating of my heart is the only sound you heard
So please don't walk away from me
I'm starting to feel dismayed
Why do you have the need to flee
Away from me today
Where's the love I once knew
What happened with me and you
I thought it was all true
What little time is left too few
Without you here I need to
Change my view on my life
I'd like you to see my love and pursue
Pursue it but what is love without some strife
Please don't let me fall
Fall into the dark insanity
For then I'll no longer be able to recall
The love I thought that would be eternity
Please don't walk away
For you are the only one

The need to run from this cruel place
That squashes the light from me
I'm running out of space
Why do you have the need to flee
Is it too late to show you my love
Am I a fading thought
I'm like a lonely dove
Who's looking to be sought

The reason you decided to flee

Spreading in the wind like debris
You're dying
