10.
When I woke up, I heard ambulance sirens. There were police officers and nurses and fireman holding everyone back from me. I realized that my head was resting on something really comfy. I looked up to see Pyra staring down at me, worried. That comfy pillow was her lap. I jolted up but immediately went down. My entire body felt terrible. I looked at my body. My camouflage was gone and all my limbs were responsive, but I still felt like someone ran me over with a truck. Or a plane. Mira sat beside me while Raven tried to get Mitch up. "Mira, why-"
"Mitch flung forward after the crash. He hit the row of seats and broke his arm."
I tried to get up again. Pyra pushed me down. She mouthed 'Stay down'. Mira noticed that. "She's right. Josh. You may be alive, but you are seriously hurt. If you didn't have the enhancements, you would be dead."
"Mira, we need to find Viktoria."
"Josh, you need to rest."
"Mira, get me up. Now."
"No."
"NOW, MIRA!"
She jolted back, scared. I felt instant regret. "Mira, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have shouted, it's just that-"
"It's ok."
Pyra stroked my cheek. "Pyra, what are you doing?"
She made a flurry of symbols. 'My parents used to do that to me when I got mad. I thought it would help. If you want me to stop-'
"It's fine. I don't mind. If it makes you feel better."
She stroked my cheek again. Mira looked uncomfortable with Pyra touching me. She interrupted; "And you should be good to go now! I fixed up your augmentations and you should feel better!"
I got up and turned to Pyra. "Thank you. How long were you doing that?"
'Half an hour.'
"Wow, that's long."
Pyra signed me again.
'No problem. If you need anything, just give me a call.'
I nod. "Thanks again."
She nodded and went to go talk to Jason. Mira got up and I noticed that her leg was covered in blood stains. "Mira are you ok?"
"Yeah, nothing to worry about."
She attempted to limp over to the group. "Mira, what's wrong with your leg?"
I kneeled down to look at her thigh. "Josh! What are you do-"
I looked at the scar. I was at least 2 inches long. The doctors already took a look at it, considering it was stitched. "Mira, that's not nothing."
"Just leave it alone, ok?"
I kneeled again and motioned her to hop on my back. "I'll give you lift."
"Josh, it's just a-"
"Just get on."
She hopped on my back and I stood up. "Josh, can I tell you something?"
"What?"
She buries her head into my back. "Thank you. For everything."
I smiled at her. She fell asleep on my back. I carried her over to the police cruiser and we were sent to our hotel.

"Josh, we have a problem."
Mira looked at me. "I can't read French."
I sighed. We were settling down at a restaurant before we looked for Viktoria again. She was looking at a certain dish. My favourite dish. Poutine. "Mira, it's the same in English."
"Oh."
I sighed. The waiter came by. "Puis-je prendre votre commande?" (May I take your order?)
"Oui, nous allons tous ont la poutine, merci!" (Yes, we will all have the poutine, thank you!)
He whispers in my ear. "First time in Canada?"
"For them. I'm Canadian."
He awes. Pyra signed me. 'You know a lot of languages.'
"Well, I was forced to learn this one."
Jason turned to me. "Mate, you need to learn Latin."
"Why?"
"Because the director used to yell at him in Latin! Funniest. Crap. Ever!" Raven said.
Oh yeah! When the director got mad, she yelled at people in Latin, so no one would understand what she was saying.
"I already know Latin."
"Then what does 'Tu Tibi Molestus' mean?"
I laughed. "It means 'You're a nuisance'!"
We all shared a laugh. Jason pouted. "It's not that funny!"
"Oh, it's funny!"
Raven could not stop laughing. Mira turned to me. "Josh, what's poutine?"
